I saw a lot of people be excited to use the new Blue with the starters, but isn't Pidgeot pretty good? I also like Umbreon sniping basics, starting potentially from turn 1 with Boosted Evolution Eevee

Like, seriously, as cool as these cards are, the set is supposed to be based around these dual type cards. Why don't we have more of them? And I don't even just mean EX cards. We could have had a Grass/Metal Genesect or Fighting/Lightning Pawmot. But we only got these two.

Mind you, I don't think the set is RUINED or anything by a lack of these cards - we have plenty of great Trainer cards and plenty of good Pokemon as well. I'm just confused by the lack of dual types when they're literally the thing that the set is supposed to revolve around.

Haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet. So we’re looking at up to 300 damage for 2 energy. Or 480 damage if it stacks. You have to be able to get both stage 1s online quickly, but sightseer helps with that.

The Ribombee ability says “Sweet Honey rental card”, but I don’t see Rental Card printed anywhere on the Sweet Honey card.

Is it a typo on Ribombee? Or am I missing something completely?

This supporter card goes really well with a Mega Charizard Y/Entei Deck. Before, you needed like at least 2 card spaces (Dewpider, Araquanid) to force switch your opponent’s mega to active to 1HKO with Mega Char Y. Now you can just replace Cyrus/Sabrina with the new Blue supporter card (assuming you run a deck with a non-ex Charizard for oricorio and Mega Charizard Y).

Sure, unlike Chen pao pikachu can’t hit the whole board, but with raikou you can Cyrus to the active and do the same thing anyway, and with the new tool Pikachu will be a nuclear bomb… 🫩
