General/Advice Help????

26 year old, Testosterone js 4.5 nmol/L and I have a

free androgen index of 26.5 and my SHBG is 17 nmol/L.

I'm really concerned about those levels because just from googling, that's not normal, right?

How urgently should I get back to endocrinology about these results?

I'm also a Type 2 diabetic (pcos/pmos induced)

Those numbers are definitely high, no question about it. For context a typical female range for testosterone is under 2.0 nmol/L so you're sitting way above that.

I'd get in touch with your endo this week if possible. With the diabetes already in play there's probably a more layered treatment approach they'll want to consider.

I just gave them a ring and there's no appointments till the end of December. They're going to email the team to see what they can do.

I'm on Ozempic for treatment of Diabetes but I also just think that's not helping like it did because my h1ac has gone back up considering it went down last year after I started ozempic.

it's nothing crazy, you are just very insulin resistant and it is reflected in your hormones. managing your insulin levels will usually raise shbg. your testosterone seems pretty normal, but the low shbg might still be causing you to experience androgenic symptoms

Yeah I'm suffering really bad with androgenic symptoms, I have hair everywhere I don't want it and I can shave the "beard" off and it's back by morning.
