How different is hiking at this time of the year compared to the summer? I just started hiking during the summer and have done ben lomond, pap of glencoe, ben venue with relative ease and would love to continue into the winter months but I honestly have no idea on how different it is and what knowledge I would need to not die :) does anyone have any recommendations ? would be greatly appreciated.
