Franz, sans 4th quarter heroics against New York, hasn’t been himself to start the season.

I’m not one of those “fans“ who practically celebrates the injury of Banchero because they believe that Franz is better than P5, or that even sillier, they should trade one because they don’t mesh well with one another.

But if Franz didn’t get hurt last year he almost certainly was headed for an all star selection.

I truly believe that once the rust from having a true offseason (he neglected to play for Germany this summer), he is going to display some serious name recognition amongst the talking heads in the next few months.

With AB poised to have an entire season to piece together the flashes of brilliance he had to start last year before slightly returning to earth, the pair of them promise some real fireworks. Once Bane finds his rhythm (remember he started last season slow) and allows the floor to stretch out a bit, Franz can get back to what he does best- slicing up interior defense with the precision of a surgeon.

We’re injured, sure. But we’re going to find that groove that found the league noticing Franz all over again, sooner than you might think.

Nueva Era

Went to the Timberwolves game Friday around the tunnel hoping to get some stuff signed by players and I got there before the game started and I wasn’t allowed to be a couple rows down. Fast forward to it being over and a blowout in the 4th you couldn’t even move down a couple rows to the empty seats where rows were damn near empty. The security people were just in the stairs watching if anyone moved where they didn’t belong and asking to see tickets, they wouldn’t even give people time to take a photo standing up. I’ve been to many sporting events wether it’s football or basketball in different arenas and I’ve never seen something like this. I was standing on my seat after the game and I was asked by them to leave but it’s the seat I bought and I’m not being disruptive, I was ordering my uber. Is it always like this? Or is it something new they’re doing for player safety?

I feel like we should try to get an organic watch party going between now and maybe the new year at some time. Nothing spectacular.

We all chat, pick a game, pick a spot, and show up. No sponsors, no big deal just one day with plenty of advance to get enough people to jump on board.

I’m a lifelong ORL resident and am fine with anywhere. Downtown is kinda bogus and the city really killed the scene down there.

I haven’t been to Tom’s, I usually just go to an alehouse, which honestly would t be a bad idea because we could just invade their high top section and it’s easy to stay standing and roam around to talk and hang out

I live in Debary now and the Seminole Towne Center one is perfect, I’m also open to Altamonte Mall or even the ones down by the attractions.

It doesn’t even have to be at an alehouse, just an idea.

I’d LOVE to get a bunch of people to hop on board and make this a super casual, good time to just shoot the shit and watch the Magic to get out there and forget about our jobs for a few hours, haha.

So we all saw the non contact injury that happened to Suggs. My assumption is, it won’t be an ACL tear. But I believe that it most likely will be a hyperextended knee. My only thing is that it could be a mild or grade 2 hyperextension. Mild is 2-4 weeks. Grade 2 is a partial tear which would mean 4-8 weeks. My hope is that it will only be mild. But this is a huge blow to our defense. Rough Start but got the W tonight vs NY!!!! PLAY THE SONG!!!!!!

To me I believe he could be starting a breakout year and could finish the year averaging around 18-19PPG and could have a career shooting year too. I’ve never seen him start a season this phenomenally. I don’t know we’ll see how he plays tonight but I genuinely think this version of Dell is lethal.
