It's not only one of my favourite oasis songs - but one of my favourite songs of all time. It feels like a warm ray of sunshine in a song, really helped me through a bad time in my life in late 2021 and has been with me ever since. Love the chord progressions, the melody, the lyrics, the harmonies. All the different sounds used. I love putting on the relaxing album version or the hazy live versions, and I love the fact it was released as a single, and played live heavily in 2000.

But overall I love that the song just feels like coming out of the other side of something dark, but not letting it affect you because you feel love. Also the music video is perfect, I wish the artwork was based on it, walking through the sunny desert fits the song perfectly. Perfect song for walking, and made me love SOTSOG.

When Live Forever was played in the past, all these awesome quotes would pop up on the screen and form John Lennon and it was the coolest thing ever; a perfect way to end the song. The thing I miss the most about old concerts is how screens weren’t the entire aspect of the stage. They added visuals of the artists and that, but they weren’t crowding everything with all these visualizers and stuff. Look at Knebworth! You had the gigantic Oasis banner and the super cool swirl design on all of the stage (wonder where that came from). Sort of a tangent, but I really wish these quotes would come back for Live ‘27 instead of what we had before. There really is nothing conceptually better than Rock ‘n’ Roll.

I recently noticed Liam is wearing most of Steve Jobs’s iconic outfit in the Champagne Supernova music video lol. Did Steve snag his look from here? (I don’t actually think Steve Jobs did, just noticed the coincidence recently and as an American, love focusing on the mundane these days 😂)

Good things/bad things to consider before buying?

Hello guys! Im on my mission to sound like noel gallagher and his tone on guitar, and im sort of at a point where ive got alot of gear but it never sounds too right! I have 2 amps, a boss katana 50 and a big marshall valvestate which may have been a bit ambitious for room volume, and some pedals! Ive got a soundlad scran, which is meant to be oasis tone in a box, a ts min, a boss delay and a wah, with a cheap tremolo and a reverb on the way. But whatever i do i cant get that crunchy bright sort of tone. It either sounds so muddy or dark or i cant hear the actual chords and it just sounds a mess! Can anyone help me?

Has anyone played or used the eiphone noel gallagher signature riviera? If so what is it like? Does it get close to the oasis sound?

Per link above, I'm not the first to post this, but it would be nice. I think you could even use alt art or liner notes as to not compromise the collectibility or originality of the original. In three weeks' time it will be celebrating 20 years since its original release, so maybe there's some merit to it (obviously not enough time to roll out a release, but maybe they could buck the trend and do a 21st anniversary release). I'm also aware of the Time Flies compilation. Perhaps they could make a new collection to get the best of both worlds? Maybe a bonus track or two?

Recognized him walking on Columbus Ave between 78th and 77th across from the Natural History museum. Told him I was a big fan and that I loved the MetLife show last year (went to Night 1), and he responded “ah, thanks man!” Still buzzing thinking about the short, but awesome, exchange.

The thought that this actually happened seems somewhat of a fever dream and if it were to have happened during the age of pre smartphones and internet nobody would believe you if you told them you saw Liam Gallagher crowd surfing while Foo Fighters and Joe Perry from Aerosmith were playing Come Together by The Beatles.
