Hello! Ive read some post on facebook na scam daw po ito for nurses bound to germany? Since wala daw po silang partner na hospital sa germany talaga so pinagback out nalang yung mga naglanguage training for 8-9 months? Any thoughts on this or any same experience with this agency po?

šŸ”ŽSeeking Recommendations saan kaya pwede magreklamo?

i've been working 8 months sa as dso na nurse and na assign ako sa hc yung doctor kasi is nilagy nako for non renewal.

reklamo sakin
ang paratang sakin hindi ko daw alam magbigay ng bakuna for baby and ntp meds, at paulit ulit daw akong tanong ng tanong kung ano ha dapat ibabakuna dapat alam ko daw yan since nurse ako, nung mga 6 months nako alam kona and kabisado kona binibigay at tranaho ng hc nurse e pero kasama padin to sa IR na ginawa sakin. diba unang una dapat may proper training and isa disease surveillance officer ako. ang pinirmahan kong actual duties ko is dspat sa nag ffield

nung nagrequest kami ng appeal sa taas binaba kami sa district tapos nung patapos na sinabi lang ng head doon na more on explanation lang mangyayare for non renewal, diba pag nag appeal dapat may laban kami. pano kaya gagawin namin

ang fucked up lang kasi feel namin may power yung doctor, pero grabe kung makalagay ng for non renewal akala mo nakapatay kami kung idefend nya

šŸ—£ Discussion / Rant Not in my Job Description

Pa-rant lang po.

Umabsent ako today kasi NAPUNO na ko ng sobra dahil ang nasa resume ko lang AND ang sinabi lang naman nila na kasama sa Job Description ko ay STRESS TEST not STRESS ECHO, gets ko na business is business, pero low and behold gumagawa na rin ako ng Stress Echo dahil syempre pera pera din, also pinaka ayoko talaga is they don't inform me the first thing palang in the morning, since alam naman na nila yun before pa, inform lang sila sakin kung kailan PAUWI na and nandyan na yung pasyente, syempre di ko naman na matanggihan. Also nagpapa-stress test pala sila na walang supervision ng Doctor, not even forming a consent form lol.

ā“General Question / Advice bedside while reviewing for nclex or soft nursing while reviewing for nclex? hear me out

hi KUNARS! stuck sa dilemma and need your perspective.

nag-apply ako sa soft and bedside nursing, pero 2 callbacks pa lang natatanggap ko (both clinic area).

gusto ko sana mag-soft nursing muna for a few months para makafocus sa NCLEX review since mas light ang workload compared sa hospital.

on the other hand, dad's encouraging me to do bedside agad. Sabi nya para sa clinical experience at makaalis agad ng bansa ASAP lalo na sa lala ng ekonomiya ngayon. Dapat daw yung work ko ngayon, ticket ko na agad pa-abroad.

Ano sa tingin nyo? If you were in my shoes, ano pipiliin nyo?

šŸ„ Jobs / Careers I barely had a social life this year, but I’m USRN na, and almost an MSN-RN! What’s next?🄹

I am about to graduate in MSN!

Cheers to another milestone this year! šŸ„‚

I’m so grateful I took the leap and pursued my Master’s while working full-time as an ER nurse. I recently defended my capstone, and my panelists even encouraged me to publish it! 🄹🄰 Kinilig akooo!

Balancing work, graduate school, NCLEX (passed it ā¤ļø)and now PTE preparation hasn’t been easy. I barely had time to go out and enjoy life, but thankfully, this journey has changed me in unexpected ways. I no longer drink alcohol, I eat healthier, and I’ve learned to cook my own meals more often since I started living in my apartment. In a way, I’ve become more intentional about how I spend my time and take care of myself.

Now, I’m wondering how I can make the most of my upcoming MSN degree.

For nurses with an MSN, what opportunities opened up for you?
Was it worth it financially and professionally? Would you recommend leadership, education, research, or working abroad?

I’d love to hear your experiences and advice. Thank you in advance!🄰

✈ Working Abroad Hired as Dialysis Nurse in US but..

Good day,

I was hired as a dialysis nurse 3 years ago and waiting for my visa interview. To be honest, I don’t like dialysis nursing anymore. Lately, I had problems with cannulation and I got really frustrated. I already question myself. I just wonder if once I arrive in US, can I shift to other department immediately? I don’t want to be in trouble. Thanks!

ā“General Question / Advice Unprimed IV Macroset During Gravity Infusion — Patient Remained Completely Asymptomatic. Any Similar Clinical Experiences?

Hi everyone,

I came across a clinical scenario involving an IV medicine infusion where a regular gravity macroset was inadvertently used without being primed beforehand accidentally. 24G cannula as inserted in patient's vein and then attached to a dry macroset unprimed. Will the patient develop complications?

For context:

  • A 24G IV cannula was used.
  • The infusion was administered through a regular gravity drip at a moderate flow rate, without an infusion pump.
  • The patient remained completely asymptomatic throughout the infusion.
  • The infusion was completed, and the patient continued to feel completely fine afterward, with no apparent adverse reactions.

One consideration is whether the relatively small cannula and gravity-controlled flow might have limited the rate at which air entered the circulation, rather than allowing a rapid, large-volume bolus. However, the actual amount and rate of air entry are unknown.

Given that the patient remained entirely asymptomatic during and immediately after the infusion, I'm curious how nurses and other healthcare professionals would interpret this situation from a clinical standpoint.

Has anyone encountered a similar incident involving an unprimed IV line, particularly with a small-gauge cannula and gravity infusion, where the patient remained asymptomatic?

I'd be interested in hearing about similar clinical experiences, how these situations were managed, and whether any delayed complications were observed.

Thank you to anyone willing to share their experiences or insights!

šŸ„ Jobs / Careers Part-time bedside nurse

Hello! Planning po ako to relocate to Manila and would like to ask if there are hospitals that hire part-time, reliever, or per-duty bedside nurses that also issues Certificate of Employment (COE)

I’m hoping to continue gaining bedside experience while exploring other career opportunities while waiting for my PD. If you know of any hospitals or have personal experience with this kind of arrangement, I would really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you & Godbless po!
