Support/Advice Did anyone else feel like this?
Like I have this desire for when people to look at me I want them to think of that's (name) instead of that boy or that girl. Like I want to be recognised as my own person and don't understand why my entire identity has to revolve around my sex I don't want to be a boy or a girl I want to be my own person.

i think that’s understandable. im still trying to figure out how i want strangers (for closer people i can tell them) to perceive me. my current approach is feminine name but masc presenting but i guess unless you are some form of bigender there are probably better approaches. i would maybe say if they pronouns exist in your language that could be a good call? or a name that others cant sort into either male or female (but i actually think that only works if one also looks androgynous)? but yeah definitely understandable

this is so real. i like to say gender is just a performance because it’s true, it’s literally just a personality that society hands to everyone.
