S/o verilife on fordham rd. Brownie points $140 super fresh fat nugs

at verilife, I see all these new matter strains. I heard they were possibly taken over by a different company? are these the strains that we are used to with a new name or are these new strains? I'm thinking of trying some out tomorrow. Some other new names are moonbeam gelato, giggin grapes, and problem child.

Started with a crafty, then I moved on to a venty, which then lead me to a pivot. Now I'm trying to levo II so I can infuse my own tincture. (Which is really easy with the levo II)

What I want to know is, has anybody else spent this much on your equipment, because I'm finding it's getting really expensive at this point. Along with the fact that more medical dispensaries are going out of business which why I started buying the equipment in the 1st place (trying to save a dollar by using equipment to extract the most out of my cannabis.)

I don't know, anybody else got any thoughts?

I noticed over the last 6 months Be. Medical dispensary in the hudson valley has started to suck, there inventory has been the same mostly garbage. I understand they are pushing in-house brands now but what happened to getting new Rythm strains, not much from 1937 anymore and the botanist has came out with a lot of good strains but they seem to get none of them, also nothing from Knack. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they closed next, Medical is becoming worthless and will soon be nonexistent

Brownie Scout crossed with Slapz. It's been a while since I had Slapz but if I remember correctly Slapz had the same caryophyllene nose upfront, I don't really smell any brownie Scout at all. Appearance wise it is a beautiful flower. Nice colorful bud clusters with heavy trichome cover, spongy even a bit sticky. It is a really fresh batch. This terp profile has never really been my favorite, that's just personal preference but I know other people that do really like these terps. I'll be honest, on first sight I was excited, on first smell I was already disappointed. To me, heavy B-caryophyllene terpene flower is like the Wedding Cake terpene. I've had so much Wedding Cake that I didn't want to smoke anything similar again, but B-caryophyllene is a really beneficial terpene. It's not listed as the dominant terp, though, on the terpene profile; it's actually third after limonene and myrcene (I usually prefer those as dominant terpenes), but to me, it's the dominant terpene I taste, so I don't know.Anyway, I used a DHV, I wasn't that excited, it made decent vapor, effects are hybrid, not super stoney at first but def gets you there, relaxing, calming, definitely potent flower. I do find caryophyllene to help me with inflammation, I get almost an immediate relief in joint and muscle pain I rolled some up in a filtered organic hemp paper and that's when the flower really shined, about 2/3 of the way through and I was really enjoying it, smooth burning, the terps at this point mixing together perfectly, the effects were strong but very calming and relaxing, not something so strong that I'm ready for bed, but a nice full bodied high.

Definitely would recommend. Gassy, skunky peppery. And a really nice looking flower.

Recently tried to Crusty Crustacean from Find at Curaleaf and was happily surprised.

In the past I've seen folks not be happy with their Find and/or Curaleaf experiences, has that changed? Issues I've seen in the past are weight inconsistencies, mold, etc.

Are they on the up and up? Any strain recommendations? I admit, all the strains they have available I'm not 100% familiar with. Thank you for any insight.

So the Bardonia Store is closing. What I’ve been told is that the landlord has been unresponsive to certain issues with the building through out the year ….roof leaks , no heat in winter , crappy landscaping etc…. As a former employee of 3 years I can attest to this. ……What I can’t wrap my head around is why Cresco didn’t come up with a plan to keep business going , like maybe secure another location??or reopen the Brooklyn Store that been closed to the patients for 3 years plus??, or finally get the grow house in upstate operational so that their Brands could be sold in NYSMMJ …
Overall I feel really bad for patients that I met there that REALLY need their meds … but most of all the Great co- workers/friends that I met there ..ever person I worked there with were not only passionate about Cannabis , but equally passionate about helping the MMJ Community….
I must say Sunnyside/Cresco is doing well in Florida,Mass,Pa and Illinois…. But we always felt left out or forgotten by the company, yes some of it was because of NYS laws , but at the same time Sunnyside could have stepped their game up …..anyways … rant done..

Wondering everybody's opinions on this brand of vapes and how their resin compares to their rosin vapes, as well as others in the market.
