Hello everyone! I'm looking at heading down to Moonlight and the Launchpad on Friday the 30th to check out the scene and do a little networking, if at all possible. I'm bringing a few flash drives with me that will contain at least three to four songs, and I'm hoping to slip those into the right hands.
If anyone on this board is planning on being out and about that evening, ( I don't see anything going on at either bar on Halloween ), please look me up and I'll buy you a drink.
( I'll be the tall drink of water in a black blazer, engineer boots, and a cowboy hat, assuming I can get in wearing one. If not, I'll be sporting a black 'Powerflex Gym' beanie )

Maybe I'll see you there!
-W.

Hello. I'm looking for musicians in Santa Fe or who would travel to Santa Fe to record instrumental parts for a kirtan album I'm working on. There are some elements of American folk music as well. If you play any of the following instruments and are interested in collaborating, please send a message.

• sitar
• sarod
• esraj
• mandolin
• violin
• pedal steel

Thanks!

I'm still contemplating exactly how I want to get this show on the road at a practical level. But in the interim, let me just say hello and thank you for having me aboard.
-W.

are there any venues in Santa Rosa NM? or like a music scene at all ???? pls help wanna go to a show so bad but idk how to find.

Hi everybody!! I recently created a meet up for musicians to have easy access to others with the goal of eventually collaborating or making new music friends. Please join, no matter what your level is. I did create the group so i could finally meet like minded folks who want to join a band but I hope this also allows others to find their musical matches too!

I am looking for someone to just jam with. I stay in Los Lunas but willing to travel. I am mostly wanting to experiment with sound and try to ride the wave.

Unison Festival

September 10th to 14th, 2026

Tico Time River Resort, 20 miles south of Durango, CO in the gorgeous Animas River Valley, Aztec, NM.

Tico Time River Resort and the community surrounding it to put together Unison, Rise and Vibes, and Tico Time Bluegrass is nothing short of extraordinary!

Unison Fest is hosted by Pura Vida for Good, a 501C3 non-profit. Proceeds from Tico Time events will support the Recreation For Recovery Program based in the Four Corners Area; serving Young People in Recovery with Outdoor Adventure Activities with guides who are in Long Term Recovery.

Also, Tico Time River Resort features lots of outdoor activities available during the festival, such as free paddle boarding, volleyball, swimming, water slide, Tarzan swing, yoga, cacao ceremony, & ecstatic dance, Sacred Fire, & plenty of workshops.

If you have never been, please come join for Unision Festival this upcoming September!

The venue, the community, and staff are all absolutely amazing. I couldn't be prouder to be a part of this amazing place and it's mission! (This year I finally landed my opportunity to work on the operations staff during the events and I absolutely cherish it - but, I'll probably make you pay the troll toll to cross the bridge to main stage - Show me your best jellyfish!)

Now come wiggle with me! 🪼

I like 80s alternative (anything ranging from R.E.M. to Galaxie 500 and more) 90s slacker rock like Pavement and the Halo Benders, prog rock like Yes, and a bit of jazzy stuff. I don't know what the genre will turn out to be, but if you like any of that or like something else and want to be in the band, hit me up 👍

Hello! I hit things with sticks. Anywho I've been playing for 3 years, I'm not an idiot who'll play chops through a song that doesn't need it and I'm perfectly comfortable playing straight for as long as needed (will do the opposite if I need to also). I'm also not an idiot who thinks the only volume drums can be is loud, I have brushes and my drum teacher HAMMERED practicing dynamics in my brain. I'll play metal, but I don't have a double bass pedal, but I'll still do my best with a single. Anywho DM me any music you like if you want to jam, right now I only have a snare, cymbals, and brushes, but I will be moving my full kit soon.
