Tourism Investment Opportunity: Exclusive Tourist Development – Moon Valley, Swakopmund Namibia

A rare 10-hectare plot, already rezoned for tourism, sits right on the park boundary just 20 km from Swakopmund. The site offers uninterrupted, magical views across the iconic Moon Valley landscape — one of Namibia’s most photographed desert terrains.
The vision is clear and high-demand:
• 20 stylish self-catering units
• A flexible conference and wedding venue
With Swakopmund’s strong domestic and international tourism base, limited competing inventory of this quality, and the unique setting, the project is positioned for strong occupancy and premium rates.
Seeking a partner to bring this distinctive coastal-desert destination to life.

Nature Deadvlei took my breath away!

In 2017 I did a road trip through Namibia. I have traveled all around the world, but Namibia is one of my favorite locations I've ever been. I especially love Deadvlei! We even printed a picture we took of it on a huge canvas and it is hung up in my living room!

So jump forward to 2026, I am writing a song for my band Weatherwax about Africa and all the places I really love and of course Deadvlei had to get a mention! I wanted to share the song with this community in the hopes that hearing a song about your home will bring you some joy!

You can listen to the song here:

Or search "Weatherwax Africa in my Bones" on any streaming platform.

Life for safari pilots in Namibia?

G'day all, I'm a fairly fresh charter pilot in Australia. I am looking at making a move over to Namibia to fly for one of the safari companies. Just wondering if there are any pilots in here and what their experience has been of living in Windhoek. Is there a decent nightlife and things to do outside work?
