His shelter name is Gromit which is cute but hard for me to say sometimes lol. He’s got one crumply ear and a droopy looking mouth, and he’s incredibly cuddly and curious! I don’t think I’m into punny or multi-word names but if there’s a name with some tiny relation back to his features/personality I would love to hear it!

(he’s getting a big dental procedure done tomorrow for his stanky breath and rotting teeth, wish him luck!)

I initially named him Monty, but I’m not sure it’s sticking. Other ideas I’ve had are Percy, Sebastian, Alfie, and Rigby. The name the shelter gave him was Pugsley which I hated

This is my 10 ish week old foster kitty, he’s very tiny for his age but god didn’t nerf him ferociousness and cuddly nature. i’m interested in funny, even punny darkness synonymous names <3

Picking her up tomorrow and I can’t think of anything I want as a cool unique name for her.

EDIT: I really love the name Ivy. She kinda looks like a spicy ivy name. lol. Or wtb Eadie. Also loving Frankie.

EDIT: maybe Hawaii related names. But not death settle on that. I just love Hawaii lol

We got this beauty from our local shelter’s working cat program for our farm. Shes super slinky and elusive as well as a great mouser. She reminds me of a Bond girl or a woman with smoldering eyes you’d find in a smoky train car . Her eyes, as you can see, are bright yellow green but in person her fur looks like steely suede or velvet. I’m trying to find the perfect name that captures her vibe. I prefer human names but would consider something outside of that if really great. So far I like Sylvia but seems too tame for her (maybe not) also love vesper but that was an old pet who passed so don’t want to use that again. Any other ideas ?

I work at a vet hospital and recently adopted this little black kitty who I fell in love with while she was recovering from a paw injury 🥹 Silly baby was already recovering from an injury on her back paw that was there when she was brought in, and then got her front paw stuck in her crate bars and was limping on it for a few days. That didn’t stop her from hopping all around her crate and begging to play with anyone and everyone, she is one resilient girl!

My partner and I have been brainstorming names and we are struggling to find one that sticks. We’re thinking maybe Maisie, Olive, or Lucy? Looking for something easy to nickname haha
She is extremely sweet, super brave and spunky, she loves cuddling and sneaking up on our border collie to play <3 Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Got another kitten for my kitten and am having a hard time naming this little dude. The shelter named him Sunny, but I’m wanting a normal human guy name like Dave or something. Can’t decide on which one though, so throw your suggestions at me please!

Help me name this baby boy! He is very playful as every healthy kitten, very affectionate, loves to bite and play fight but also sleep on my lap while I work. He purrs and cuddles a lot. Curious and funny, meows, chirps and cries for attention all day. He is a very thankful rescued 7-8 weeks old kitten ^^

Edit:
Thanks everyone for great ideas! I will take some time to pick one, many of those suit him well ^^

We so far really like the name Nova but I'm not sure. What are some other suggestions that would fit ?

His current name is King!

i like rare names and unique ones like lunafreya, calypso, gemini, etc! our other mainecoon is Ludo

We have also been calling her goblin while deciding on an official name and I think that will for sure be a nickname for when she is inevitably acting mischievous.

I will say, jade was a very very close contender.

This little man is special all around. Been throwing around names. Don’t fully know his personality yet but he loves to play hide and seek and loves to walk on his tippy toes.

Loki first came up because of timelines, inside joke, then gnocchi, potato pasta kitty, tater, tater tot. All but one of my pets are named after music. I like to keep the theme but not opposed.

Adding a picture of siblings because why not. There is one girl in the bunch, and white and orange she has 6 toes as well. The last picture is when he was a few weeks old.

I’ll add a video of him playing in the comments.

*Edit for pet names:
Little dog: Lucy in the sky with diamond
Calico: Josie and the pussycats

Spiders: Ozzy and June

Rip.
Roxanne from Police
Frankie Sinatra because of his blue eyes

Thank you for everyone who suggested names on my original thread! My husband and I went through them all and really loved many of them. We finally settled on Lily (OG suggestion: Lillie) after trying a handful out. We think it fits this little bean perfectly!

Thank you!
