Poor guy just canât catch a break. Hate to see it, wishing him well on his road back. Spurs thunder rivalry just ainât the same when we arenât fully healthy.

The jump from college to the NBA hit Carter Bryant hard as hell.
â˘Day 2 in San Antonio: Coach throws him on Devin Vassell in the side gym. Vassell drains like 18 contested shots in a row with Bryantâs hand in his face. Bryantâs internal monologue: âI donât belong here. I made a huge mistake.â
â˘First 10 games: Every team hunted the switch just to run him over. âThese are grown men with kidsâ energy.
â˘Practice: Kelly Olynyk cooked him in the post with one-legged step-backs and bank shots while coaches were screaming âYouâre supposed to be a defender!â
Rookies rarely keep it this real. Kid got traumatized early đ

Q: To start, congratulations on your season and your team's season. To go back to the game and this serie, Mitch just mentioned that he didn't consider your team to be ready to win a championship like the other team. Do you agree with that statement and if so what exactly was missing from this serie?
A: Personally? Obviously we weren't ready. I wasn't ready to win a ring. It's obvious. I think that in terms of will to do well, intensity, effort, we were at a good level. I was at a good level. But it's experience, it's those mistakes. We don't lack talent, we don't lack abilities, we just make too many mistakes. I make too many mistakes.
Q: After this final what do you want to improve the most on this summer on the court or off the court? What area of improvement have you identified for yourself to get better at next season?
A: I will work even harder to be even more durable and above all, keep my mind fresh. Maintaining control over the game. All the time. That's what's striking about Jalen Brunson for example. There were too many instances where, and it doesn't come with bad intent, too many instances where i'm passive. Too many instances where i don't have the control i would like to have over the game. And it costs us.

According to Maxime Aubin on X, visiting the children's hospital was Wemby's idea. "I can confirm it was Wembyâs idea. Last Saturday, after the loss, he asked if he could visit a childrenâs hospital before heading back to France." Aubin said on X.
