MP Builder Goat build = End of mp builder
If the Goat becomes a success
Which most likely will
Say goodbye to the builder and create your own player

Let’s keep it a bean. Yall will spend your hard earned money for these builds and will still be trash at the game. You will spend your $100+ like you usually do on every 15 builds you’ve made go into your favorite game mode, miss a three, blow a layup, miss a free throw, get dunked on or splashed on and blame the build and 2k. Let’s be real about it. They dangled a carrot and yall goofyahh chased it. Meanwhile people are still zenning and using titans, account sharing, and cheating somehow some way. Then you will complain that 2k needs more patches and bans so they will send a lengthy half ass patch that could never and will never be perfect because they (on the low) get to change the meta forcing you to create a new build to match it and you are stuck in the same vicious cycle. Haha so I will be here with the one and only mid af build I made mastering the mechanics and 2k won’t get a penny outside of what I’ve spent to buy the game. Yall won’t stand for nothing. The 2k community won’t stand as one. And they will continue to give us mediocre products because they got us hooked line and sinker. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

You'll say this and some fool will say "if you're broke just say that". The community is absolutely cooked and I'm ashamed to even play the damn game at this point

I just dont care at all about the goat builds people are already cheesy and unstoppable average players will still be average with goat build

Yup went up against a 99 Dwight GOAT build today, probably made him regret that he spent that VC. Mind you I’m super casual.
My squad-mate was guarding a Kawhi build, definitely looked fun to use… but not overpowered if the person matched up is decent at the game.

Kawhi build is about the lock part but not so much the amazing scoring like other tunes sf builds.

I personally believe that animations make or break a build. Being able to make a build that offers a great jump shot, handle animations, and motion style for defense is ultimately all you really need. Goat builds don’t allow you to change animations, therefore making them much easier to predict in a defensive matchup

Its how MyTeam did GOAT builds you should be concerned about. Eventually being able change animations on them will determine if the game truly dies because greed/stupidity of take2.

They would never get rid of creating your own player lol, that’s their money machine

Nope. 2k is unstoppable. We will never quit. Doesnt matter how predatory they have become.

depends what they do with it, if its just pick a preset goat card and use it in park that would get boring fast. half the fun is messing with builds and making something weird that somehow works

For the casual player, yes I agree. For myself, no I'm not limited to what I can or can't do so therefore the customization wins out.

The community as usual, is hyping itself up all the builds are is what we’ve had for the last couple of years with the NBA builds or the tuned builds if they said that you could mix and match the animations like we do with our created players then I would be worried

Yep what people don't understand is that we're venturing into the realm of myteam and anyone who has played that game mode just a little bit understands that every season, they have to outdo the previous season so people will spend money.
I hear all the "it's locked animations" arguments, but it won't be long before those animations aren't locked or people are given "animation breakers"

Only for inside bigs if anything. Them being locked into those animations are ACTUALLY crucial
Don’t believe the hype

RIP to all these parents’ bank accounts for future installments lmao 2k is becoming strictly pay-to-win. No amount of “grinding” is gonna save you from a dude willing to spend $200+ on an OP LeBron build.

Have you seen the goat bills that dropped? Except that all the animation comes with it. It's not like we didn't have this already..pro tune builds. I haven't seen one yet that couldn't be stopped or remade with cap breakers

u/Medium_Stable_8102 11d ago
Negative, you really think they will start every year off giving out goat builds and people making 1-3 builds max because the build is OP and they are content with it? Be honest with yourself thats against their pay us more money method .

I just like the fact there’s a build for Dirk. Other than that there’s going to be player created builds far superior to the GOAT builds. Let’s not overreact

The GOAT builds definately seem interesting. So they give more points than normal to make the classic player realistic, but you are stuck with THOSE attributes and badges etc.
Young Kobe looks fun. Magic one kinda sucks imo because only 70 three? Not even 78? So its young Magic? Prime Magic ('87-'90) could make threes. So its' like Mid(87) or nothing. The 99/97/93 playmaking looks fun though.
Wonder what the Bird build will be. Ive always had a hard time with him doing it myself because he should be like 92 dreb 94 mid 96 three 90 pass 90 close 96 ft lol. Hard to do those things and have much left.

I hope that builder gets scraped because it is just a victim to cheaters. My goat build smacks these cheaters around left and right bc I’m not being held back.

Tbh, I don't have an issue with the builder getting tossed lol. I hate the builder as it stands but that is truly just my personal opinion.

u/BryanDabo 11d ago
Literally the only thing that makes 2k such an unique experience. Thankfully you’re standing alone with this opinion

u/PapiOnReddit 11d ago
The most popular 2K’s had minimal build customisation

u/XTBMcGibbs 11d ago
This is basically what I want lol. I don't want the builder itself gone. I want the current builder gone
1
u/XTBMcGibbs 11d ago
I'm not I want to not be able to make unique builds. I'm saying the current builder is trash and its been trash since 25 imo

What people need to realize is this game is made for “Make your build to fit your play style”
Gone head and spend that money on them goat builds!
I’ll wait till a curry build is available. That’s genuinely the only build that I’d WANT to make. LeBron build also maybe but that’s about it.

Guards will not be using goat builds . Having those cheesy animations and fast jumper is important to those type of players . The main players that will be using goat builds are role players .
This is just my opinion and when I say role players I’m referring to the players that makes those good boy builds that set screens all game , players that have no offensive bag that will only sit in the corner all game .
If you’re a player that can score at will , high chance you will stick with your current build.
(Also a lot of centers that are pure inside will most likely use goat builds for the higher finishing , rebounding and strength stats )
