Jeff Gordon drove this car to victory lane in the Aarons 499 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 25,2004. Jeff would start 11th and lead 15 laps. This race would be the 65th victory of Jeff Gordon's career.

2003 would be young Ryan Newman's Breakout year. His rookie 2002 season was incredible but his 2003 year raised the standard significantly. Newman got 8 victories, 11 poles, earnEd the nickname "Rocketman" and finished 6th in points.
I don't think people realize just how many poles Ryan Newman has. In his career he had 51 poles. That's a staggering number. But to put it in perspective that puts him at number 10 in the all-time pole list. Richard Petty is at the very top with 123 followed by David Pearson at 113 and Jeff Gordon at 81. Out of current day NASCAR drivers, only Denny Hamlin beats him at 53. The next closest is Joey Logano at 35 poles.

Added a few recently and got these awesome display pieces.
What are some of your favorites?

I do not know this is hot take or not, but I love the Matchbox Racing Super Stars line of stock cars. They are chunky and a little cartoonified but they have pretty accurate body details that stand out. What is your take?
I think for the time they were great. I brand could sell cheaper diecasts like this today and probably be very popular with the younger audience and grow them into the more adult lines.

The goal here was to take a cheap looking diecast, paint the interior and make it look higher in quality.

Just got this in the mail today. Ordered not long after seeing Rajah and Sammy talk to fans before the Rockingham race. Both seemed like great guys, but couldn’t pass up the price point on this iRacing car!

This was the first diecast that I tried to upgrade, but it gave me little to play with. Looking at it now, I should have sprayed the interior because it looks faded in some areas and still makes it cheap

Hey all, I’ve decided to clear some space and am selling my SVG center nose from his rookie year in Xfinity. This came off his car at Daytona in 2024. I’m trying to sell it locally since I’d be out of my depth trying to ship something this big, so if you’re within driving distance to central AL and are interested, hit me up! I’d like to get back what I paid for it, so I’m asking $350 or I might trade for CZ stuff of equal value. Thanks for looking!

Do you think they will make this diecast? I would really like it to go with my k2 one

Dale Earnhardt ran this blue and yellow Wrangler Chevy for one race, Daytona. It features the blue forward unlike Wrangler schemes he would which features the yellow forward.
The spotters were apparently having a tough time seeing the car (somehow) and I guess fans didn't car for it as much. Despite it finishing second, after the Daytona 500, the blue moved to the rear, never to be placed "in front" of the yellow again. This scheme existed once, only at Daytona in 1984.

Anybody know the story on these? Lionel Garage says it was sold autographed (nice signature!). Never seen one like it. I also just rewatched the race… what a finish!

Hi guys,
Non-US dude here with low knowledge in NASCAR looking for assistance 😃
I try to collect 1:64 diecasts that will represent the diversity of NASCAR ladder from 0 to the very top. Rules are kinda simple - 1 stair 1 car (or few if they are from different ages, that's optional)
So far the ladder I built looks like this:
1) Wingless Sprint car
2) Winged Sprint car
3) Supermodified (prefer not to have Hot Wheels mainline but this class wasn't produced by anyone else in 1:64)
4) Whelen Modified
5) Pro Late Model
6) Late Model Stock Car
7) Craftsman Truck (2 from different ages)
8) Xfinity (this pre-Cup is being renamed few times like O'Reilly's so I keep it as one)
9) NASCAR Cup
What I know exists but I didn't buy it yet:
a) Dirt Late Model (those by ADC, I think 1:64 quality is very so-so but I didn't see any alternatives)
b) ARCA Menards by Lionel Racing
c) Super Late Model or Limited Late Model are also present in 1:64, not sure which one
d) Some random karting diecast I will put as first stair, I think there are some karting diecasts on the market
MAIN QUESTION:
Did I miss any classes that must be part of my collection in a 1:64 diecast form?
Thanks in advance guys!

PLAY WITH AUDIO. My latest mail day arrived and I discovered I was the victim of a practical joke. Does the guilty party wish to come forward voluntarily?

Picked 2 of these up today. Platinum series 2012 Sprint program car 1 of 800! Guy never opened them, I even cut the seal on the tape to take them out, one box was still wrapped in a protective covering. Was kinda intrigued that the DIN was still unknown for 14 years, was hoping for a 1 or a door DIN but sadly no

On October 28, 2020, Kyle Busch won his last cup race at Texas Motor Speedway and was able to save his streak of a win every season. Auto’d and elite, thank you to @SamDamnImHornyJR89 for helping me be able to get this diecast

Acquired my most wanted 2009 1/64 COT Promo and the last one!!!!
Jimmie Johnson’s Kobalt Tough Tools that ran at the Samsung 500 Spring Texas Race in 2009. He would run the regular Kobalt scheme that would end up infamous for wrecking early and getting back on track to secure enough points for Jimmies 4th Championship.
Another Promo was also handed out that same weekend that I plan on reviewing in the future so stay tuned!!!
(Not For Sale) Personal Collection Only!!!

I’m wanting to make a custom of Curtis Turner’s 1949 Langhorne win. There’s a few pics of him in the Frank Christian 41, but I need help ID’ing the specific 1949 Olds vs the 1950 olds. Does anyone know if either of these images are the 1949 Olds he drove at Langhorne? I’m having a hard time finding an answer. Thanks!
