Wow they have really bothered me, the fact that they’re restaurant was a disaster yet the preview for Zoe and Zac’s restaurant shows them still talking so much shit..

No wonder they’re both single

The What If's for this season so far?

This is more so for a lot more of the AVOIDABLE issues. Like they could have easily just left it. Not those where they dont have much choice.

  1. What if Jane and Shane had cooked their egg entree much longer?

It's just that their chawanmushis were so raw. But this was so avoidable. A minute more, and they would have been fine. Even overcooked would have been better.

The judges and guests have mentioned that the flavor itself was good. And the ones who got the slightly more cooked ones said they enjoyed it. So, I do think their scores would bumped much higher, now maybe in the 60s, maybe nearing Alisha and Deanne, but the main was so bad, it probably would have not been enough.

I do think there was no going back with the main. It was doomed from the concept alone. Even if they did not stupidly pressure cook the birds to "save" them, I don't think it would have improved their scores had they not pressure cooked it.

  1. What if Alisha and Deanne kept the tart in the oven much longer?

I don't think the show has a set time limit, so I really think they should keep it in a LOT longer. Like this would help them quite a lot, in all aspects. Maybe even the caramalization would add flavor.

Sure, I do think their entree was kind of doomed with the tuna seasonings, but I don't think it was really what tanked their score. And Main, was probably the best they could do for the time.

So overall, I think they could have just narrowly been behind Sheridan and Ted. Or even had the exact same score.

  1. What if Sheridan and Ted had just salted everything more?

This was probably a huge issue. Like everything was generally well-executed, but let's be honest, that bland food can really be obvious. (I've seen some comments saying that's how it should be or that's why there should be salt and pepper on the table, but I haven't seen those lately in restaurants)

I do think overall, they probably would have been in the 80s. I don't know if their flavors were that good in of itself. There was technique in the entree, while the main was quite simple.

Overall, they would still be in the same position, not as close with Harrison and Oliver.

I think it's cool that there's a pescatarian :)

When I used to watch come dine with me they'd almost always have someone with dietary requirements so each dish would have the alternative version to accommodate them! I think it's a good skill to be able to alter your dishes with good flavour still so everyone can enjoy.

And evidently? A lot of people literally don't mind! It's literally just Angus and Simon and some viewers throwing a hissy fit because how DARE a pescatarian wants to compete on a cooking show??? UGH how DARE people ACCOMMODATE OTHERS??

Like. If they had pescatarian or vegetarian friends would they just not cook for them lol?? Ok I know it's a bit different in that case but you get what I'm saying. Maybe.

This is probably silly and I don't expect everyone to agree of course but :) Angus and Simon are just getting on my nerves and edit wise are obviously very insecure about themselves if they think a man crying is strategic to get points.

Are the boys for real?

They must be a producer plant, put there to create drama It's the only logical reason for their behaviour.

I'm having a hard time thinking they're naturally such assholes. If this is the way they behave in real life then they must have been abused as children or something to think it's okay to act like they are.

If they think it's a strategy they are playing to upset the opponents, then they're just plain pathetic. If you need to try, put your opponent's off then maybe you shouldn't be there, it just shows you're worried you can't win with good cooking.

Whether they're an MKR plant or just pathetic I hope the rest of the teams are as bored with their attitude as I am and give you low scores when you cook. The sooner you're gone the better.

I noticed the failed eclairs on the stove whilst they were plating dinner whilst watching live last night. Didn't think much of it at the time but I had to look back and grab some screenshots. Surly they had enough time to remake them if that's the case?

SA Boys doing my head in a bit - rooting for the Gatecrasher duo! Krystin and Lucy did amazing

Not sure if it’s producer editing but man those guys are being so hostile and cringe. Glad to see the girls knock it into the 90s, they’re far superior than the bogans and the blokes from SA.

I wish they weren’t so cringe- like when Krystin and Lucy served their entree’s the boys were like “oh yes, go the OG’s” etc. but it’s like … um you guys didn’t cook this dish, the girls did. The boys made an abominable parmy and dry party sausage rolls. Same with the bogan girls- they heated up some baby broccoli and served sticky date that splat on the hardwood floor. Why all of a sudden do they thing that they’re superior to the Gatecrashers?
Wish the SA boys were up next instead so they could be humbled a bit.
