Hello! I just got charged for a full membership plan because I didn’t cancel the free trail. I already submitted a request for a refund but some people say they don’t always refund or just partially refund the amount.
I requested the refund the same day I was charged.
Can someone who this also happened tell me if they got their money back?

Interesting and somewhat surprising! Wasn't expecting Portuguese, but then again, what with colonization and the slave trade, I had zero clue as to what my ethnicity is beside African American!

Hello guys! I just got my results today and I’d appreciate some help.
For context, my dad is spanish and my biological mom (who i haven’t met in my life) was born in Satu Mare, Romania which I know from my birth certificate. I was expecting to see Iberian and Balkan but there’s no Iberian at all? I researched about it and I read that MyHeritage tends to misinterpret Iberian as Mediterranean (specifically the greek and albanian percentage) but I’ve seen that people here are really knowledgeable in this so I would love some thoughts :)

My son is half British and half Turkish. Attached is his results and mine. Didn't expect him to be mostly Italian!
I'm wanting his father to test now. His family is Turkish going back multiple generations.
I have his permission to post this and I hold parental responsibility for him so can make this decision

Has anyone heard from MyHeritage support about why they stripped out mtDNA and Y-DNA SNPs from their recently released CRAM files?

Not too surprised by Albanian roots, but didn't expect so high percentage. Interesting. Would be interesting to see if this mix is somehow common in Bosniaks from Sandžak...

Pretty surprised by my results as a 6th generation Australian on a couple sides of my family and 3rd 4th on others. All my ancestors I’m able to trace back to the 1700s have all either been from England, Ireland or Scotland. The 4% Dutch and 2% French DNA rather surprised me though. Most my ancestors are from England which is another reason i find it odd that I got more Scottish/welsh and Irish DNA then English.

Can we see what could be our old results like the v0.95 / v2.00 if we did the test directly with the v2.5 ?

Eastern Galicia has a strong history: from Poland-Lithuania to Austria, then Poland, USSR and finally Ukraine.
I’m definitely from the east.

Just got my results and it was so surprising to see Syrian and Egyptian! I figured I would just get Italian and Greek, but my results actually surprised me! 😂

I have been waiting the results a lot of time. It has been in Raw Data in Production since 13th september. Personally, I chose MyHeritage over other DNA testing sites because I was told that, for the price, they were quite fast. However, I might not have decided to purchase from them had I known I would have to wait so long—especially without being given any reason as to why it’s taking so much time. My other DNA tests haven’t taken nearly this long; I’m not sure if this is typical for MyHeritage or if they’ve actually run into some kind of issue, but it would be better if they provided more information and made an effort to keep their customers updated.

I’m from South Sardinia and my parents and grandparents are both from my same zone.

context: adopted at birth by italian parents, always knew my birth mother was italian, i didn't know about my birth father tho
also no, i don't have any close-related match aside third-grade cousins, or more distant type of relatives, so i don't have anyone to compare this with.

EDIT: got the results

Does anybody know why Syrians are always getting ethnicity results from Southern Italy and Egypt?

These are my wife’s results. Much of her Russian family comes from the Moscow region, while her Azerbaijani ancestry traces back to Baku. The Kayseri connection is a complete mystery to us.

Has anybody encountered this before?
I have ordered and submitted regular DNA kit. After sending my sample back, they told me I could upgrade to Health Kit and get a health report before they had received the sample in the lab, which I did upgrade. However, now it’s prompting me to complete a health questionnaire, while the link to it doesn’t work and sends me to my profile instead. I have written to support but I’m worried they will receive my kit earlier than this would be fixed.

Not really surprised as I'm fully Norwegian on both sides, but the Irish/Scottish connection is interesting, as I have no known (named) ancestors from there. I have to keep digging. I knew about the Swedish and Danish ancestry and have identified several ancestors already.
