Hi all, i’m a senior in a graphic design program, a partner and I are curating an exhibition about unsent messages for our exhibition design class. we’re asking for a text or call to this number with a message you wish you could send or never did, and it will be featured in our exhibition (anonymously)!! the messages will be displayed on a variety of screens in a small space at our campus, writing themselves and then being deleted, revealing the next message. any participation is appreciated & please keep it appropriate for a college art school setting. (names removed from the flyer for privacy)

Having children and working in Museums

Let's talk about having children while working within museums. What is the reality of the situation? My life long dream has been to have kids. My passion and happy place is within museums. I'm just now starting to reach my goals. I worry taking time off to be a SAHM will hinder my progress in the museum field. I'd be devastated to work this hard and come this far just to start over again. What worked for you or your co-worker?

People and Display Glass

I've been working in a museum as a tour guide/quasi-janitor for the better part of a year now and I gotta say, the sheer amount of people who go out of their way to rub their prints across every piece of glass in the entire museum has stopped being frustrating and is now simply impressive. If I'm not actively interacting with people, the vast majority of my time is spent cleaning fingerprints off of all the glass in the entire museum. Have other people in this industry noticed this as well?
