My munchkin is able propel himself on to furniture with ease, but I’m more concerned of the impact to his front legs when he jumps off. I’ve bought him steps to help him (especially get on my bed, where he likes to be at most of the time), and while he uses it sometimes, if he wants to get off on a side where the steps aren’t he’ll just jump from there. He hasn’t injured himself thankfully but I don’t want to wait until it happens to find a solution. Thank you!!

A litter of four feral cats were born in my neighborhood. The mother was a typical DSH and two of the offspring are obviously regular DSH. The other two look “off” and it took me a while to figure out why. They have short front legs. I know nothing about munchkins, but could this be due to being a munchkin mix?

We recently found out our munchkin is no different from out vertically-abled cat of the house, and will take every opportunity granted to be as high as possible. Are there any on the market that make it a bit easier on little legs? She already has ramps just about everywhere, and I've been thinking of a kind of 'spiral design' type for a tower, but I can't find anything in my searches.

I feed stray cats and there's a special looking one coming lately. It has noticably short legs but not as short as Munchins I see online. I would have guess it is a half munchkin or just natural dwarf but It also has wild cat type markings and extra big looking eyes. It seems healthy, fast moving, and curious. But it's also skittish of me, we are making progress but I can't touch it yet. I don't see a collar on it. It's been around for about 2ish weeks. Doing some research on short legged breeds, it might be a genetta. Ironically I had already thought the coloration reminded me of some bengals I've known but bengals have long legs, not shorties.

I tried doing lost cat searches for the breed but Google and even sources like pawboost do not have good search options or do not have any search function at all for just words or breeds. Google just gives a bunch of the wild animal version, not the cat version of the animal, same with Facebook. I'll try to get a pic of the stray cat soon but it's only just getting to where it will tolerate a hard stare without running. I don't know the gender of it yet either. Is there a place for where genetta cat owners hang out? Is there a way to search for lost genetta cats? I feel like someone probably paid a ton for his cat and now it's running around scrounging kibble in a bad neighborhood.

We loved her so much that when her half-sister (same dad) was ready for adoption we brought her into our family as well!

Shes young but her temperament seems to be pretty mild but also fiesty. Not the biggest lover so far but she is warming up. Little grouchy but shes a tired kitten and everyone just wants to love on her.

Does anyone have any good harness recommendations for munchkin cats? I’ve tried so many and every time my girl just wiggles her legs out and ends up either tangled or free of her harness. I’m about to attempt to figure out how to make a custom one
