Multani News 📰 MULTAN ACCIDENTS
Title: What’s happening to Multan lately? Why are there so many fatal accidents?
I don’t know if it’s just me noticing this, but Multan has been seeing so many heartbreaking accidents lately. It feels like every few days, there’s another tragic incident and people losing their lives.
The recent Bosan Road accident, where five young men lost their lives, was especially heartbreaking.
Seriously, what is happening to our city? Is it overspeeding, reckless driving, poor road safety, or a lack of traffic enforcement?
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that two of the five boys who lost their lives were from my own university. It hits differently when the people involved are connected to your own life.
I’ve also been hearing disturbing claims about possible drug use before the incident. Unfortunately, I’ve even heard about the places where they allegedly got the substances, but I don’t know which details are confirmed and which are just rumours.
If these reports turn out to be true, it raises even more serious questions about drug availability, road safety, and whether enough is being done to prevent these tragedies.
It’s genuinely heartbreaking. These were young people with their whole lives ahead of them. Something needs to change before more families have to go through this.

People in Multan got no sense of driving unfortunately. Let me line up the main issues here currently happening in Multan which I've faced personally being a bike rider:
-
People with CD70 has no front lights, No rear break lights and no indicators as well
-
Even if they do have indicators, they don't use it
-
They don't have side mirrors and they don't look while overtaking or crossing the road
-
They don't know what lane they're in, Even if they make a mistake they'll not accept it and infact confront you or look you angrily like it was your mistake
-
Everyone is coming wrong lol. No sense of driving
-
Shapatar underage boys are driving recklessly
-
and then there are folks with Alto but with white HID lights spreading shit everywhere with huge ego
-
Ab toh altis bhi bht zyada hogyi hein with white HID lights
I think it is good k logon ka challan horha hai tanke logon mein Kuch sense aye.

pains of growing up. Multan has only recently, in the last 3 years or so, started expanding economically but more importantly socially when a lot of tech/mktg workers started relocating back to their hometowns while earning via remote jobs thus bringing their previous cities/environment's social and cultural footprint and demanding more. this would mean more cars, more autonomy, economic prosperity and creating sameness of bigger cities. a lot of friction is to be expected. I would expect more in coming years and social and cultural fabric of Multan would change in 20s more than the first 2 decades entirely. I could be wrong but looks less likely with my studies, experiences and so-far observations.

Multan has transitioned into a big city now and these things are a feature of any big city. I'm sure accidents used to happen at the same rate just a few years ago but social media makes you think the world is ending lol
