If hackers in our world somehow manage to delete everyone's financial records, would you be in support of that action? Honestly, I don't see a way that society can keep sustaining itself under this neoliberal economic system, where people are stretched more each year. Where corporations destroy the environment, where oligarchs fund fascists.

I know in the universe of the show, 5/9 was framed as a mistake that was spawned from juvenile anger. Because the story is ultimately about how changing yourself is the most important part of changing the world.

In real life though, I think a reset is the only option where there is a hope for humanity, even though it would most likely take many years of suffering before something better was built out of the ashes. Maybe people would gain class consciousness in that time and learn the real people to blame for their suffering.

What was the purpose of Tyrell putting the chip into the gay receptionist’s phone in season 1? I know he was trying to get CTO position but I can’t work out why he played the receptionist like that.
Thanks for helping!

I've always been that one dude who says "TV Shows never make me feel overly emotional", or "I couldn't cry over a TV show if I tried" and while the latter remains somewhat true, I can tell you now, this episode got me pretty damn close.

Just the way the episode was laid out, I loved the acts and the tension, the fact that the episode was focussed in one place the whole time, I loved that.

That one act, however, was something else, if you've seen it you know exactly which one I'm talking about, that would be Act 4.

What got me about this act is that, from the moment Elliot urged Vera to keep reading was the moment I kinda figured everything out, I didn't want to believe it but it was gearing up to the reveal, and for those 5 minutes I genuinely felt dread, for a fictional character. Seeing him slowly realise especially got me.

The whole episode was beautifully done and every character played their role perfectly, it is a high that I will never experience again.

And the finale was just as good in my opinion, brilliant end to the story. I honestly think Mr Robot is my new top #1, anyways thanks for reading my rambling

needs brightening though

The Gresini MotoGP team’s social media team are creating parodies of TV series posters this year to promote each Grand Prix; this weekend’s poster is a nod to this brilliant series

I will truly miss this show and watching something as grand as this for the first time.I first heard about this show when I was around 14 in the tiktok Real era where every scroll was depressing text with soul crushing music and they used two clips of this show one being "the lonliness came back" and Leon's "Do you wanna be here now" I am so glad I watched this.

I think Tyrel's wife

Goodbye Freind

idk who to credit for this edit i got this from a instagram reposting account and there is no watermark on it so...

I came in thinking it was gonna be an okay show that I'd forget about a month afterwards, left with it in my top 3 at least, shit was Attack on Titan level.

Genuinely left an impact on me emotionally, absolute cinema

It's no longer in any steaming platform, so where can i watch it?

I watched Hello, Elliot 5 years ago and i was overwhelmed and immensely surprised by how beautifully done a finale episode can be done.

I know a lot of people also love Proxy but ever since I watched Hello Elliot I knew it was the best ep of the show instantly.

It's incredibly rare for a tv show to end this high and be the best of the show. Especially given how incredible the entirety of that season was.

Season 4 is arguably the best season on TV.

Mr Robot is one of the few shows that have plot twists that actually adds up to the story and was true to the story and wasn't there for shock value. Especially the one in Proxy and the ending. Which is brilliantly done.

We all watch TV to chase the dragon. To find a new high. And Mr Robot is that show. And more.

I wish I could erase my memory and rewatch. Because that season 3 and 4 was some of the best TV I ever watched. I was in awe and overwhelmed when I first watched it.

Mr Robot is amongst the most consistent TV shows on TV and is nearly perfect if not perfect.

What shows would you recommend me to fill the void for this type of TV?

Just finished Mr. Robot and I'm looking for something with a similar psychological feel. What hooked me most was the unreliable narrator, the protagonist's mental state, and the constant paranoia where you can't trust what's real. It doesn't have to be about hacking. I care more about the psychology and mind-bending twists than the tech. I'd prefer something where the story is planned from the start and the reveals recontextualize everything. Any recommendations?

I just finished 407, omg.

That shit fucked me up dude I didn't know any form of media could make me feel like that, I'm damn near crying

Hello, Elliot is the first ep that made me cry ; during the final monologue..the music...the performances..everything was perfect

Easily my favorite episode of all time, anyways, what shows are as impactful as mr robot (none lol)

First time.
