I’m an MSU student looking for an apartment to rent while I complete my dual degree program (first year at MSU, second year at MGIMO. Ive been looking for apartment with a 50k rent budget and found a couple ok-ish options around lomonovsky district but that was a few days ago and they’re already off the market. I found an apartment today at this address: Bolshaya Ochakovskaya Ulitsa, 12k7 in the Ochakovo-Matveyevskoye District. It’s fairly modern and not as run down looking as other ones I have seen. Just curious if this location would be ideal or ok for an MSU student. How long would the commute be to school? Is it a decent enough area? I have never lived in Moscow and know nothing about the area. Any opinions are welcome!

Hi, I have been studying in Moscow for 2 years now and it is a shame to admit that I've eaten nothing other than rostic when I go out and would like to know if you guys have any obscure gem you'd recommend me checking out. I am definitely not picky and would try almost anything.

I'm also struggling to find thrift store location for men as the one I've visited have mainly vintage women's clothing. Flee market suggestions would also been awesome aside from izmailov as it's practically my annual visit.
