r/Monk Chat Thread

Hi everyone! Welcome to r/Monk. We are trying to limit the posting of frequently discussed topics, so this thread is the place for general chit-chat about Monk. There will be a new post every month.

Please do not make new posts about topics such as the following. (Instead, discuss here!)

  • "I just started watching Monk," or just finished the series, or just watched the movie, etc.
  • Ranking and favorite episodes, characters, quotes, etc.
  • Natalie vs. Sharona

Ce serait trop génial une nouvelle saison après le film, où il éluciderait les dossiers frigos !

You know, I really appreciate this type of moderation in a sub. They see frequently posted stuff, but they don’t just say “stop posting”, they give an avenue to still talk about the stuff being posted, but limit the redundancy. That’s really considerate.

Well done, others could learn from this type of moderation!

I've been watching Monk since it first aired when I was a kid. I got over the Natalie vs Sharona debate a long time ago. They're both wonderful for completely different reasons.

lmao the fact that “natalie vs sharona” needs its own monthly containment thread that debate really refuses to die.

I'm rewatching an episode or two each evening on Great Television. I like it almost as much as Psych, but the coincidences in the plots sort of become annoying if I watch multiple episodes over a couple of days. A killer winds up in a photo behind Natalie's daughter? (BTW that sounds like something out of Columbo .)

I’m on my 3rd or 4th rewatch of the show.

How about adding flairs to this sub?

I'm up to season six, I like the progression Randy has, from idiot, to optomist, and badass who will take on two killers with rifles with a stick.
