Couldn't sleep

What do y'all do when you can't sleep? Well start on a new build of course. Shout out to highboy for doing a buddy build with me. Got the parts all cut and sanded, the body prepped, sanded, and scribed. Now I just have to sit and wait for the mail to deliver the parts ordered from Texas3dcustoms (who, I found out, lives close enough for me to go to his place and pick up the parts in person). Super chill guy, can't recommend his stuff enough. I'm excited as this is the first time I'm gonna cut up a kit to do an aftermarket widebody. Gonna throw on the widebody kit and some rims and tires. Thoughts? What color scheme should I go for? I'm leaning red. Feel free to weigh in!

Orange with gray interior. That's a great kit.

Simply tamiya clear acrylics over a silver base for that pearl look. X-24, 26, and 27 over X-11 chrome silver base. I really like the look and bought all the different clear colors from Tamiya to custom mix pearl colors. If you use AI (I use Gemini) it will tell you the exact mixture for any color (purple, etc)

You built it yet? It's probably one of the more affordable transkits out there. Can't go wrong with such a good looking car. This is the first build that I'm doing just for me. I'm pretty exited to see em how it turns out. Would love to see yours, too!

Yeah I ordered a ton of stuff this week from him. Mail day can't come soon enough! I really like the red, too. This is the first model I'll be building for my personal collection, so it's kinda special for a couple of reasons. I think I might go with the red. The AI mockups are super sexy in candy apple...
