Editable post flairs

Is there a reason why editable post flairs can only be edited after the post is live and not before?

Probably something on the backend ie it won’t save until publish and has a post ID. If you notice you’ll see there are things we can do to manipulate a post after it’s published but not beforehand when in draft form. And there are some things that can’t be done once published, like edit the title or change images, or add a text body where there wasn’t one to an image post. It may be more possible but more technically complex to edit post flair in draft form idk. There’s a subreddit somewhere for suggesting features to admin, you could go make a case for why you want it there.
