Removed post and comments by Reddit?

I can see in my insights that posts and comments have been removed but have no record of what those are. I assume it was spam or something that was removed by Redditt. Can I not see what they were because I'm on mobile? Is there a way to see what they were? Thanks

  1. Check out your Removed queue.

  2. Check out your Mod Log and filter by moderator and then select admins.

I can see removed posts which I did approve afterwards so I have that figured out but I can see 7 comments removed by Admins and don't know what they were.

Some will have [ Removed by Reddit ] in place of the comment, and some will just have the little removal reason over to the right saying that with the icon, but the original comment will still be visible. I too wonder what differentiates them...was it like a super vile comment?

The difference is a hard removal and a soft removal.

One is just completely removed, while the other is possible to get approved by a moderator if they are absolutely sure that the comment does not violate a sitewide rule.

yeah super vile comments get the removed by reddit. they also add a demerit to the submitters account unless they appeal it (assuming it was in error)
