Admin Replied Control of mod list
Hello, the senior mods in my subreddit are having a problem. It seems we have no authority to grant alumni or advisor mod roles to the last half of the mod list. Also we are unable to reorder the mod list. Can anyone help?

The senior-most active mod with everything powers should be able to do this, no problem.
You speak generally of your sub's senior mods. I'm guessing theyve all been marked inactive, and you are not including the senior-most active mod with everything powers when you say "senior mods".

No, the senior Mod and founder of the sub is marked inactive as well as the number 2 and 3 on the list. Day to day sub operation has fallen to the number 3, 4, 5,6 and 7 mods on the list. We are all active and none of us are able to assign roles or reorder the list for the last half of the listed mods. The first half we have no problems with. I am writing this on behalf of the senior most active mod. All of us have full permissions.

The senior mod that wants to reorder needs to do some actual modding for awhile to get rid of the inactive tag

You say 1, 2, and 3 are inactive?
If 4 has everything powers, then he’s the only person that can do a mod list reorder.
But you say he’s unable to. That leads me to conclude he does not have everything powers.
Further complicating the issue is your comment to Opus in this thread. It doesn’t seem that the senior most mod even wants to do a mod list reorder.
In which case, asking for advice here is moot and a waste of time.

Is your top mod inactive? If so, a top mod removal request would be the way to go.
