Admin Replied Has Reddit stopped with trophies for mod programs and early access programs?

Hello all,

I noticed that in the last year it so, Reddit had not been awarding trophies for mod programs and early access programs like they used to. For instance I was accepted into the mod reserves around six months ago, I have no trophy.

As well as, I never got a trophy for participating and providing feedback in the following:

- Wiki 2.0 early access

- Video in comments early access

-Rules Hub early access

-Community Playground early access

-Adult promotion filter early access

And others (I have a to look and update this post)

Per their website, it says that mods are rewarded for participating in the programs (sometimes financially, but mostly trophies in their profile)

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being a part of the early access programs, but I am also a trophy collector as well lol, so I want to be able to collect any trophies that I am eligible for.

Has one else noticed the lack of trophies lately for mod programs and early access?

Thank you.

For Mod Reserves they said years ago that joining the reserves wouldn't be enough to earn the trophy, you'd have to be active.

Were trophies ever announced for the other ones?

Thank you. This helps answer that question. No, trophies were not officially announced, but if I am remembering correctly from Reddit's previous mod programs and incentive page, it did state that users are rewarded with trophies in a FAQ section about a question about "Do I get paid/Get anything for participating?". I am trying to find it on the web.archieve.org but the current URL for the Mod Early Access Program Overview is recent and not the old one, so I am trying to find it still.

First off, thank you to everyone who takes the time to test early access features and share honest feedback; it genuinely shapes how these tools are built.

On the trophy front: we haven't walked away from recognizing your feedback, but the original approach of creating and granting separate trophies for every single feature test has become challenging to scale as MEAP expands.

We’re still working out the exact details, but our current thinking is to move toward an annual MEAP trophy to recognize your participation over the course of the year. The goal is to make recognition reliable and sustainable without pulling bandwidth away from maintaining the program and supporting product feedback.

Nothing is set in stone just yet, but that’s the direction we're exploring. Thanks for bearing with us while we work through it!

Thank you for the response. Yeah I can imagine individual trophies can add up quickly as the MEAP expands. The annual trophy does sound cool, kind of like how the Mod Council Trophy works.

Yeah I was not complaining, but just curious to see if there were any updates as I have not seen any new trophies from the MEAP as of lately.

Thank you again. Have a good day!

Now that you mention it, community status and post guidance are the last early access programs that had trophies by the looks of it.

Modmail might be missing from your list.

Modreserve trophies are based on deployments

I completed the requirements for:

  • Wiki Wiz

  • Auto Magical

  • Mod-Helfer:in Lvl 1

  • Mod Guia Nível 1

and never received any of them.
