Mod World Discussion 🧵 Morning Mod World 2026 mugshot ☕

Post image

👀 u/iceeypisces caught red-handed this morning at Reddit HQ.

Y'ALL READY FOR TODAY? See you at 10:00am PDT.

(Note from u/kongsworth: Yes, it looks like iceey is wearing some kind of Mod World 2026 shirt. It is just a tote around her neck. There is no shirt.)

P.S. - At 9:45am PDT (about 15 minutes prior to the event start time), the "Your RSVP" button on the event page will switch to say "Join." At that point you'll be able to join! See y'all soon!

u/SonUnforseenByFrodo 3d ago

I love the mugs, those could be cereal bowls

4

u/miserabeau 3d ago

Forced perspective. 11 oz is not that big.

1

u/SonUnforseenByFrodo 3d ago

You just talked me into the tote bag

2

u/datawhite 3d ago

Thanks, the button was still saying RSVP, just got my timezones mixed

2

u/saintlindsay 3d ago

Hello, mine isn’t changing from Your RSVP to Join, but I’ll restart again and try again. Hope you see you guys soon!

2

u/deanalyzr 3d ago

Did yours end up working? Mine never did.

1

u/miserabeau 3d ago

I never got in either. I STILL don't have the email that would let me in. No idea what I missed. I gave up after 40 minutes of frustration, trying 3 browsers and 2 devices.

1

u/deanalyzr 3d ago

Yep, me neither. I just gave up as well.

1

u/wandering_soles 3d ago

Mine never switched to join, and I got stuck in and endless cycle of confirmation emails and authorizing app. I tried over and over and could never get in, which was really frustrating.

24

u/Any-Top-5659 3d ago

Just to confirm, thats in 1.5 hours right? Let me go and make me some ramen, some chilli paneer and get some sweets

13

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

Correct! That all sounds amazing, definitely do that

4

u/elaerna 3d ago

Okay so it hasn't started yet? I received a notice that says join mod World here but when I click the link it just takes me to the registration page.

4

u/Haseen_Dillruba 3d ago

If you have RSVP-ed the link in your email should get you to the event page

1

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

Nope, it has not started yet! It starts at 10:00am PDT. Pinned comment here about getting into the actual event. See you soon!

4

u/Warking223 3d ago

Man I'm done with my dinner and can't have anything and I so wanna binge on something while watching

1

u/Any-Top-5659 3d ago

I will make start making ramen 30 minites ago, have prepped panner wrap fillings (et to make 5 minutes) and got myself one choco pastry

3

u/Warking223 3d ago

Man you're making me crave it. Even though I had delicious food today, I just feel like having more. But gotta control.

12

u/rapidbackshots 3d ago

are the mugs really massive or is it the image

13

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

It's the image. They are normal-sized mugs!

9

u/shhhhh_h 3d ago

Darn I need a massive tea mug!

12

u/lameass69420 3d ago

It's my first time being a mod, still unclear on how to join it? I have already RSVP'd

9

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

Hello! Head to this link (same one used to RSVP) and you'll be able to join 15 minutes before the event start time. The button will switch to say Join once we "open the doors."

1

u/poohbear0320 3d ago

How do we get the merch?

4

u/1RollinRollinRollin 3d ago

Appreciate you asking this, I was able to attend last night and wasn’t sure how I even got in.

u/[deleted] 3d ago

3

u/ModEvents-ModTeam 3d ago

Remember the human.

6

u/PreferenceInfinite83 3d ago

Everyone is gonna start wearing those totes as shirts now 😵

11

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

u/iceeypisces IS a trendsetter, so this makes sense

10

u/iceeypisces 3d ago

Wait ... y'all don't wear totes as shirts?

5

u/No_Survey_9498 3d ago

Will the merch mug be of similar size?

9

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

They are normal-sized mugs -- it's just the way the photo was taken

3

u/Zero_Pumpkins 3d ago

Sounds like I’m going to discreetly hide one of my husbands least favourite mugs so I have room for this one

2

u/Funny-Patience7407 3d ago

She needs her Snooble! 😆

3

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

I have it on mine too! I love it so much! Thank you x 1 million <3

4

u/iceeypisces 3d ago

I have it on my bag <3

1

u/Funny-Patience7407 3d ago

Sweet! Hope you liked those colors 🥰

79

u/kongsworth 3d ago

The mugs are 11 fl. oz. or ~325ml.
There is no t-shirt.

See you at Mod World! Don't ask about merch in the chat 🫶

36

u/theperfectcrispyfry 3d ago

Hot tip: You can chat all things merch and spam u/kongsworth in the Discord #merch channel

9

u/Disegual 3d ago

I can ping u/kongsworth in the discord 😂

7

u/llamageddon01 3d ago

I promise not to ask if the lovely new trophies come in a frame….

15

u/kongsworth 3d ago

I wish, more than anything, that they did not. But, in time, it will be framed :(

4

u/llamageddon01 3d ago

:( indeed. A strange decision.

2

u/alex-mayorga 3d ago

My daughter is a huge fan of r/axolotls and she loved y'all's avatar dude(tte)! 🖖🏽

1

u/Odd_Detective8255 1d ago

Hello a bit off topic, so do we get a sender confirmation email once we select our merch? I only got order confirmed mail.

2

u/kongsworth 20h ago

After the deadline, we’ll undergo eligibility checks during the following week. After that, your order will either go into processing or it will be cancelled. Either way, you’ll be notified.

1

u/radditor31 3d ago

Imma get myself a cool cap, so excited!

1

u/tnethacker 3d ago

Why 325 ml?

3

u/kongsworth 3d ago

Because 11 fl. oz.

1

u/tnethacker 2d ago

Sounds like a magical number but now it can't fit a can of coke which is 330ml. Ah well, better just to learn to drink a bit from the can first before filling that awesome mug.

1

u/DiodeInc 3d ago

Everybody asked about merch in the chat

22

u/Real_Pie2406 3d ago edited 3d ago

I crocheted this dragon during Mod World 26! Shout out to u/big-slay on my screen in the background

(edit for typo)

Comment Image

6

u/iceeypisces 3d ago

THIS IS AMAZING!!

3

u/Real_Pie2406 3d ago

Thank you!! I still need to make wings and sew it together (it's just pinned right now 😅)

3

u/forlornjackalope 3d ago

The coveted crochet piece!

13

u/sarvesh_s 3d ago

There is no shirt

Although I can see how that can be a logistical nightmare with the sizes

21

u/CybyAPI 3d ago
Comment Image

Please never use stadium again, Site was very unstable and requiring 3rd party account is a privacy risk

10

u/CybyAPI 3d ago

required email. number and everything when old one just needed username and address

2

u/beingimmature 3d ago

I tried signing up, but it won’t let me proceed. It says my email address already exists. Not sure what’s going on. How can I resolve this?

1

u/Carbon_Rod 3d ago

You probably registered for something at an earlier ModWorld. You can reset the password.

1

u/MonocoOfficial 3d ago

It did the same to me but I was able to log in using the login info I just created. I think it's just exploding still

1

u/andreaple 3d ago

How'd you get to the site to get one?

1

u/CybyAPI 3d ago

Use a link they provided in the live stream, i sadly have lost the link though many people should be pasting it in the chat every so often, admins will likely post it soon

1

u/I_can_vouch_for_that 3d ago

It's a nice bonus and all, but was there more merchandise in previous mod events?

3

u/CybyAPI 3d ago

Yes i think there was more merch last mod world, it had a full box with, 2 cups, pins, tote bags, etc, i still have the box, and you got a plushie

1

u/TheKiredor 3d ago

I didn’t get AT ALL why I had to create an account at some shitty website

7

u/Willy-Boi- 3d ago

Where is toteshot 🥹

3

u/rapidbackshots 3d ago

oh sad for that but here's me

7

u/ailish 3d ago

I'm ready!

4

u/Careful_Election_151 3d ago

Can anyone please tell me the time in IST (indian standard time) for the stream?

4

u/aparapato 3d ago

This link should help: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20261024T170000&p1=224&p2=24&p3=179&p4=233&p5=136&p6=195&p7=44&p8=236&p9=240

You can check the time by looking up your timezone if it's not on our list.

2

u/Careful_Election_151 3d ago

Thanks a lot!

2

u/thedave003 3d ago

10.30pm

4

u/NoBullGames 3d ago

wooohoooo can't wait 72 minutes and counting.

i can't decide if mug or hat...existential first world problems!

love meeting all the famous reddit faces on the call like brineofthetimes aparapato kongsworth and gang. fun!

4

u/miserabeau 3d ago edited 3d ago

I give up. It's been 30 minutes and I can't for the life of me get in.

It was so easy when it was name + password. Now it's "link to your reddit account and wait for an email that never comes" and to hell with me because I can't get in. Awesome.

I even tried in a different browser and it keeps saying "You've been blocked by network security"

Tried on my phone and it just sends me to my usual reddit feed.

4

u/CoppellCitizen 3d ago

Where did y’all get the merch? I’ve been in an endless bootloop of sign in for ever now!

2

u/katchet 3d ago

I couldn’t get it either

1

u/forlornjackalope 3d ago

The link should be dropped again officially in a bit by one of the admins or mods. I did tie it into some of my comments further down the thread for thise who missed out. Sadly it's not on Shopify like last year.

1

u/GoneSilent 3d ago

lots of fake shared links but I never saw the admin posted link. Cant seems to find it in the reply and no trophy.

3

u/forlornjackalope 3d ago

Hoping someone pins it in a bit. I think Slay said trophies would come out in the next few weeks unless I misheard.

2

u/GoneSilent 3d ago

Reddit needs to go back and filter all the bitly and other url's posted in chat.

1

u/New_Series3209 3d ago

we kinda ehh ddosed it oopsie

1

u/Zeba_Headphone_Zone 3d ago

bit.ly/MW2026Merch

1

u/scienceizfake 3d ago

That didn’t work.

1

u/Zeba_Headphone_Zone 2d ago

Worked for me...it redirect to stadium's website

0

u/Feisty_Stress_7193 2d ago

Try it: bit.ly/MW26Merch

0

1

u/violinha 3d ago

6

u/therealsaker 3d ago

5

1

u/audible_narrator 3d ago

I have the email, but do not understand where the live stream is? Can't do Discord at work.

3

u/BrineOfTheTimes 3d ago

The live event is at the link in the email (and here)! About 15 minutes before the event starts, we'll "open the doors" and the button on the page will say "Join."

2

u/LewsThrinStrmblessed 3d ago

I’m going with a Mug b/c it should last the longest of the three merch choices, that’s the only way I was able to actually choose between them 😅

2

u/Gurugod123 3d ago

I am little to careless guy so i might break the mug, so will pick cap

1

u/Cass_Cat952 3d ago

2

u/Podria_Ser_Peor 3d ago

Big mug or cool angle?
