Recommendations Mini pc for quality gaming

Hi everybody,

My sister really deserves a computer. But she doesn't have space or the need for a massive one. So I've been looking at mini PC's

She'll mainly use it for gaming. Games like, TheSims, Planet zoo 2 and modded Minecraft.

We have a budget for about 800€.

Is this mini pc something for her. Or is there something better?

(She has an old MacBook for her work and other daily stuff, that's why she'll only use the mini pc for gaming)

For mini PC gaming with mods your generally looking for AMD Radeon RDNA integrated graphics and 32GB of dual channel memory being that its shared with graphics. Last year I went with the GMKtec K8 Plus although with "RAMpocalypse/RAMageddon 2026" its outside your budget. Something closer would be the M7 Ultra PRO 6850U. Same platform with an earlier generation processor.

Consider mac mini. M4 16/512 gb it will be good if all game are compatible with mac. Minecraft is running pretty good on mac, sims also has macos wersion.

She doesn't want a Mac. There's games that she plays that don't support OS sadly. I will however talk to her about this option.

I have no idea why this comment is being downvoted.

We don't know the reason why she doesn't like macs for gaming based on her experience. Her old mac could just be shitty and thinks macs are shitty based on her experience and a macbook is different a form factor from a minipc which could be a mac.

This is a good suggestion imo.

Definitely a good suggestion. She does have a good mac right now. But she also want to play games that don't support OS. So she now has my really old laptop. But that thing is dying lol.
