When I signed it earlier, I had to scan a QR code on my phone and then sign in to Microsoft, and it gave me the message on my phone that I was now signed into Microsoft on the Switch 2. What I discovered after a couple tries was that I need to wait and not do anything on the Switch, and after maybe 30 to 45 seconds a new message popped up on the Switch and told me I was logged in.

Edit:

I now realize this probably isn’t the problem you’re having. Sorry.

Change your Microsoft password and it should force you to scan a QR code on your switch to sign in
