[u/YEETBOOOIUSA]

finally I can Build my snow palace

[u/MataNui2009]

YESSSSSSSSS I've been begging for this since mud bricks!

[u/No-Store2875]

Igloos can finally be accurate now.

[u/Critical_Top2603]

ohhh they're neat

[u/Microbe_boi]

I wonder if they’ll update igloos to be made of snow bricks

[u/pixel4571]

close enough.

welcome calcite bricks!

[u/DNAPiggy]

Ohh they look like tiny sea lanterns. That's so cute

[u/Infinite_Coat_8798 → u/DNAPiggy]

looks more like if there was a frost white froglight with some extra ‘snowness’ that got divided into quarters

[u/[deleted] → u/DNAPiggy]

[u/Majongusus_Doremidus → u/[deleted]]

They mean that the snow bricks look like small sea lanterns. Do you know how a sea lantern in Minecraft looks like?

[u/AdLost8761]

Can we make them not melt on creative mode

[u/Em3rald10 → u/AdLost8761]

I don't fucking know bro play the update I'm outside rn 😭🥀

[u/GreatKirisuna → u/AdLost8761]

They don’t melt

[u/blankythedude → u/GreatKirisuna]

What an oversight

[u/Alex_Dayz → u/blankythedude]

“Anything I don’t like is an oversight”

[u/lanternbdg]

not quite as cool as calcite blocks would've been, but this is still very cool

[u/mmwpro6326 → u/lanternbdg]

Cool! Dare I say … Ice Cold !!🥶❄️

[u/DawnedDonMe]

It’s igloo time.

[u/maisonikkokufan1980]

Now we just need snow naturally spawning under trees and also snowlogging for flowers, grass, fences etc.

[u/bubblegum-rose]

Everything is going to be craftable into bricks by the time we get the sift 😭 /nm

[u/PokeBob1000 → u/bubblegum-rose]

But never Andesite, Diorite, or Granite

[u/pomidorkamc3253 → u/PokeBob1000]

Or Calcite

[u/gonefishing102]

I think the patterning looks a little too close to the quarts bricks if I'm being honest.

[u/Em3rald10 → u/gonefishing102]

Not really, the blue outline between the bricks stands out quite alot

[u/Complete_Phrase9319]

I do hope they replace some of the new village homes that are just made of snow and ice with snow bricks and ice brics

[u/sticks_no5]

Another day… no calcite blocks…

[u/Kommeraud]

LET’S GOOOOOO, I’VE BEEN WANTING TO BUILD ACTUAL SNOW BRICK FORTS FOR AGES. ABOUT DAMN TIME

[u/Jstudz]

Give us terracotta stairs and slabs please

[u/AnarchistTerrarist]

Yay. Now when are we getting a counterpart to camels, wolf sleds are right yonder Mojang 😭

[u/Infinite_Coat_8798]

https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/1xgq7ge/imagine_if_mojang_surprised_us_next_shapshot/ Let’s hope this will become true tho

[u/The_Real_AusboyX]

Why do I feel like I've seen these before? They don't feel or look new at all for some reason.

[u/fjdecker_imfucked]

god. damn. it. now i have to spend 3 hrs designing and making a snow house for a seamless portal to a snow biome i will never go to (i am very exited to do so)

[u/RecentSleep9036]

So do you mine them with shovels or pickaxes?

[u/Leonardo_242]

Nice

[u/Top-Birthday3223]

Now I can build an ice palace

[u/Dealiylauh]

Calcite, please! We got sets for the other ice cave blocks, please give Calcite something! It's such a pretty block but is limited since it has no other forms.

[u/Moist-Pancake794]

The igloos are gonna get revamped, aren’t they?

[u/mca1169]

i sure hope it's more than just snow bricks.

[u/Novembah]

Were? So it’s not coming?

[u/AMinecraftPerson → u/Novembah]

We were getting them, now we got them

[u/East-Boysenberry8753]

News flash smart-ass we already had snow blocks since 2010

[u/Em3rald10 → u/East-Boysenberry8753]

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed
