I really miss the Tuning Room and BTS videos
I think the missing tuning room videos, no new fan club bts videos and the fact 72 Seasons was the first album we didn't get a making of for in over 30 years is a huge bummer. Even though a lot of 72 Seasons was written over Zoom, they did record in HQ. This would have been a pretty interesting document of what they and the world were going through. One of the special things about Metallica has always been how much bts stuff there was for the fans to see. I'm kinda sad they've been sort of drawing a curtain over that in recent years.

The voice on "Bass solo, take one" has written his Kill 'Em All memoir
Well, it's finally happening! 🤘
After more than 40 years, I'm excited to announce the release of my book, BASS SOLO – TAKE ONE: THE KILL ’EM ALL TELL ’EM ALL!
In May 1983, I had the incredible experience of working as an assistant recording engineer during Metallica's Kill ’Em All recording sessions in Rochester, NY.
What started as a few unforgettable weeks in a recording studio became a lifetime of memories.
Now, I'm finally sharing those stories, along with rare photographs and some behind-the-scenes moments that have stayed with me all these years.
I never imagined back then that I'd someday be writing a book about it!
RAGE ON, MY FRIENDS! 🤘

How is the Sphere live ?
New to this site. I've watched some Youtube videos from the shows at the Sphere in Vegas. The place and shows look phenomenal - almost surreal. Just wondering what it was like from those that were there - besides the stunning visuals, how was the sound ?

Metallica's weakest chorus?
Metallica are known for killer choruses but is there a particular song you think is the weakest chorus they've ever done?
My vote goes to Just A Bullet Away
The song mainly sounds unfinished because of that chorus, its stopping it from being a great song. Love the rest of it but they fumbled at the chorus. My other vote goes to My Friend Of Misery. Chorus feels small compared to the rest of the song.

The Black Album The Unforgiven IV theories?
Every The Unforgiven track has been released on the second studio original album after the last. The Black Album (The Unforgiven), Load, Reload (The Unforgiven II), St. Anger, Death Magnetic (The Unforgiven III). 72 Seasons was the second studio original album since Death Magnetic, so that streak is over.
It would be fine as a trilogy, that's actually what makes the most sense. But this quote from Hetfield makes it seem like we will have more iterations of The Unforgiven.

Master of Puppets Does anyone else feel that Sanitarium is one of Metallica's most empowering songs?
Obviously there is a whole metaphorical feel to the lyrics of the song. Feeling trapped not in a literal sanitarium but feeling trapped in life. Feeling crushed by authority, institutions, and society.
But the way the song changes from very melancholic and to very aggressive and pissed off is incredibly cathartic. And the lyrics change from feeling trapped to breaking free. I get goosebumps everytime.

72 Seasons Room of Mirrors, Chasing Light and Crown Of Barbed Wire
So these three will never be played live? We are deep into 72 era and it looks like they forgot these three? Especially Room of Mirrors would be amazing I think, Is it too hard to play live? Are these songs gonna end up like Am I Savage or Murder One from Hardwired?

What do you think of Metallica's 1999–2000 era?
For me, that was the band's last great era!

Garage, Inc Looking for a certain sticker for my '79 GMC.
I've been thinking about the "Quench Thirst with Gasoline" stylized text from the "Fuel" music video, and figured it would look good as a sticker for my truck. Anyone know if such a thing exists, or would I have to find someone to make it for me?

MEME MONDAY Found this sticker at my school last Tuesday, you bet I had to get it and wait till Meme Monday.
I put it on the outside of my case before putting it on the inside of my case to make sure I won't lose it or damage it more. Ironically, I was wearing a Ride The Lightning shirt that day. The corner is stretched a bit because it wouldn't come out but it was also damaged already. The sticker is thick and high quality so it got me wondering from where the person found it, considering there are no results on Google Lens. Even more so since I'm in Athens, Greece. There were three stickers, one was ripped in half while trying to get it, the other was on a metallic pole and had rust in it and this was the only one that made it out with minimal damage. I know Metallica came to May 9th 2026, even if I couldn't attend I really wanted to, but the stickers are older, much older, than that considering the rust that grew over the one on the pole. If anyone has any idea where these came from, please reply or DM me, just curious to see where they came from, that's why I also gave all this useless information too. THANKS!
