Spoiler: SMT IV Apocalypse I dont get why everyone shits on IV apocalypse. I'm currently in the cosmic egg and I've been enjoying it a ton so far, but i see people complaining about it everywhere.
My only gripe is that most of the character deaths didn't feel impactful (like at the beginning) because we didn't get to know the characters that much before they died, while the game treats it as a big major event.

Spoiler: SMT IV Apocalypse Trying to revive (excluding invitation) in smt4/apoc during boss battles feel like a last resort
Thinking about it for a while, trying to keep all your demons alive in a boss fight seems counterintuitive to killing them at an efficient rate. It seems faster to just replace your dead demons with new demons and attacking with them as soon possible. Reviving them with samarecarm and below and then using another turn to summon them takes time. And worst case scenario, the boss will just almighty attack the revived demon making you do the whole revival process again.
I excluded invitation in this argument because the main character cannot use it. Having a demon with invitation is great and there are a lot of passives to keep them alive. Still, putting a lot of defense can still get your demon killed by a superboss so I am accounting for every worst case scenario I can think of.
