[ALLCONTINUITY] How exactly does hyperspace work?

I've got two questions: Both are important to answer to fully understand how this in general is supposed to work, as a general rule. Understanding hyperspace correctly is key to figuring out how Galactic Republic-era politics works.

Question 1. If I'm at Coruscant and I want to travel the full length of the Corellian Run to Ryloth, how long would that take, and what would the experience of doing so be like? Answer both for an affluent government official with a Class 1 hyperdrive (the best available) and a civilian with a basic hyperdrive making the same journey, if that's even possible.

Question 2. I want to travel from one system to another, the distance of one standard grid unit (Let's say Felucia to Korriban, which is about that). However, there are no major hyperspace lanes connecting the two systems. Answer both for an affluent government official with a Class 1 hyperdrive (the best available) and a civilian with a basic hyperdrive making the same journey, if that's even possible.

The Corellian Run is longer, but one of, if not the best mapped out hyperspace lanes in the Galaxy. Meanwhile, the trip from Felucia to Korriban lacks any such route, despite being much shorter in real distance, it's unclear if I could even do it safely with how isolated from present Republic-era galactic hyperspace lanes the ancient Sith homeland of Korriban is.

[ALLCONTINUITY] How do Military Helmet Comms Work in Terms of Channels and Who They Speak To

• Upvotes

I was wondering in any government that has standard issue gear and helmets like the republic, how exactly do the helmets comms work? Specifically. who can each common trooper talk to? I would imagine a squad would have their own channel, but is there any information on what higher up channels officers might be able to access? Like would sergeants and lieutenants be able to talk in a common company (or platoon) comm channel? It seems clear that one would not need RATELOs, but we do see instances of troopers talking to Jedi or officers. I know this is a very specific question, but any info would be appreciated.

The sith went dark for so long because Yoda was in his prime.

They would have only hid for like a couple hundred years but then would have had to deal with a 300-500 year old yoda. That’s why they waited til he was like 800 to make their move.

[ALLCONTINUITY] Zabrak - Iridonian vs Dathomirian

• Upvotes

I know this is a common subject but the new Galactic Racer game has me questioning something I thought I knew about the race again, in regards to Canon.

For what I knew, Iridonian Zabrak were usually light-skinned and their tattoos trended towards thinner lines and more organic shapes/style, where Dathomirian Zabrak were prone to more colourful skin and more jagged/abstract tattoos.

The new Galactic Racer has a Zabrak character called Nik Skandaro - he's light-skinned like an Iridonian, but with the jagged tattoo style more common to Dathomirian Zabrak.

Are the styles of tattoo more cultural/interchangeable? Is he actually Dathomirian and his skin colour is just more akin to Iridonian? Or is all of this basically just not-defined in canon anymore and it's a free for all! More recent games do the same thing too, like Zero Company and Battlefront (I know they're not canon per se, but the customisation always has me curious).
