Tatertot, perfectly deep fried (20 months)
galleryAlmost done growing but still just a little guy in his heart.
Tatertot has renal hypoplasia and is in IRIS stage 2 kidney disease but he is maintaining good function and very slow decline based on labs, which is all we can ask for with this condition.

Advice needed
Hiya everyone, I rescued this beautiful girl back in April, she's now on hopefully her 3rd and final home at such a young age of 2. She was unfortunately bred during her first heat cycle and I'm sure any other big dog owners know how damaging that can be on a growing body. This unfortunately has left her with some hip issues, I've taken her to my vet and we've also agreed she will need surgery on her eyes due to entropion. On top of her usual stiffness she's also developed an issue with her hind right leg. For this surgery and x-rays they're estimating £2.5k, I tried taking her to the pdsa (due to being eligible) but they were unfortunately less than helpful, I've also been bouncing around between insurance companies and haven't insured her due to being concerned that they will write it of as a pre-existing condition. Does anyone in the UK? Have any advice on insurance companies and to handle this? I am concerned she may need TPLO on her back left leg which will also add another £5k to this. This is at my local vet hospital where she is on the health scheme which should give her 20% off, I also don't drive and live in London so transport has been less than ideal due to her limited mobility at the moment.
I'm happy to answer any questions but any advice would be appreciated, I am not asking for money.
Edit-after a very helpful commenter pointed out the importance of insurance I'm going to see if I can go through petgevity.
Many thanks
