Other Training essentials help
Hi! I (30 F) am training for my first marathon and I’ve noticed as I increase my mileage above 7 miles and beyond, I begin to develop increasing rates of friction burn from chafing in various locations.
How do I avoid this? I use body glide, but it doesn’t seem to do the trick after a certain amount of time/distance.
I develop it on my mid back, under boob, arm pits, etc. all the places of high friction. I assume of it could be due to poor fit on a sports bra, so any recommendations would be highly appreciated.
Additionally, any recommendations for water vests that avoid extra friction fellow boob havers have had success with would also be appreciated.
Thank you in advance for any recommendations and expertise you bestow upon me.

I would spend some time on r/xxrunning - this comes up a lot! Personally I use vaseline, it works well for me, some people go as far as to put KT tape under their bra line.

A very tight, snug fitting bra will help. Chafing happens when clothing moves back and forth (or up and down, like with a bra band) on your skin. So the tighter the fit the less it will move.
Body glide lasts 20+ miles for me. Make sure you slather on a decent amount.

Make sure your clothing fits well - that will help. I've also had good luck with Squirrel's Nut Butter - I slathered myself with it before my marathon, and had zero chafing.

I failed to mention I also get it in the creases of my legs and my butt cheeks. I don’t know how to find good fitting running leggings that fit well enough that they don’t slide down while running, but are loose enough to not squish my cheeks together.
I think I realize that my clothes haven’t been a good fit, but I’m sort of at a loss of where to even start with finding well fitted running clothes I feel good in. I’m realizing the demand for performance is much higher once distances increase.

My butt got eaten up a few times from undies, so I ditched them in favor of the built in briefs in my shorts. It helped a lot, but I still need anti chafe for long distances. It's just one of those spots. I don't have good legging recommendations, unfortunately. I need to go on a hunt myself to find some without the annoying front seam. I swear, if it isn't one thing, it's another. I got most of my running stuff from Target, and they've actually worked really well....except for the front seams in the leggings. It will rub in a not fun place if I don't wear undies, but me and the undies are enemies now.

I do megababe gel then put baby powder on top. Try buying a new bra, when they get old and stretch out a little they chafe more. I like the Nike dri fit ones most because the band is covered in the smooth fabric. And for armpits I stick to a tighter fitting T-shirt so there's no skin on skin rubbing
I run using the osprey dyna 1.5 vest but you do need to wear a T-shirt underneath to avoid chafing, I heard the salomon ones are great

The thought of wearing something that covers my chest and is close to my neck while hot and running sounds miserable. I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve had such an intense aversion to anything high neck since I began running years ago.

The salomon adv skin running vest is the best vest option. I had a nathan vest that chafed the living hell out of my back because it had Velcro pieces. Terrible. Also, I have had seams around the armpits of certain shirts cause chafing, so in addition to a new sports bra, that could be it. For a sports bra, try a long line bra with limited seams. Janji makes a good one.

Try Vaseline.
Also for under boob this can be a sign that the bra is old and should be replaced.
