**update, over 30 people was just 1 wave of people coming in. Sounds like it was closer to 80 to 90! My mom was there and gave me updates when it was done
Over 30 people showed up physically at the legislative, and over 40 people watched the live stream! I am so moved. Its beautiful what can be done when we work together!

General Regarding the Number 6 highway between Winnipeg and Thompson
I just want to shout out to whoever finally got working toilets at the Devil's Lake rest stop. Since there's no reliable stop between The Pas junction to Gypsumville, I thought I was going to have to marathon hold it or not drink anything. I remember when people would stop there and just poo in the picnic gazebo they had there.

Question Where the heck do you park when giving birth at St B?
Giving birth sometime in the next few weeks. Potentially a scheduled c section/induction, but there’s always a chance I go into labour before then. Any time I’ve been there over the course of my pregnancy it’s been such a hard time finding parking and I end up having to walk pretty far, which obviously won’t be ideal when actually giving birth.
I’ve seen you can pre-book spots in the lots across Tache, buy a weekly pass, etc. would love to hear people’s recommendations for both scheduled and spontaneous births!

Question Solar installers working on First Nations reserves in Manitoba?
Does anyone know which companies install solar power on First Nations reserves in Manitoba, especially in the more remote communities?
I’m a retired tradesman, so I’m interested in the practical side how the equipment holds up through winter and who services it down the road. Powertec Solar is one company I’m considering. Has anyone dealt with them or know of others worth contacting? A friend with limited internet up north was asking me about this and wanted to know what I could find out for him. Told the fool about starlink but he doesn't want to give $ to Musk, so here we are me doing the research for him.
Thanks for any pointers.
