hi! so i have a halloween party coming up in a few days, i’ve been johnny vincent from bully for the past 2 years on halloween so i wanted to do the impossible and be something diffirent, so i landed on leo kasper from manhunt 2!!

the reason im making this post is because i’m kinda stumped on what to add to the costume so i wondered if anyone had any ideas, so far i have green khakis + a brown shirt (doing the flashbacks outfit or whatever you wanna call it) a fake gun, and im gonna buy novelty syringes tomorrow (the health packs)

any other ideas would be mucho appreciated!!

I'm very sleepy; it’s super late, but I just have to get this off my mind before bed. Imagine how fucked Starkweather must've felt when not only his chainsaw-wielding, mentally impaired, illegitimate son with the strength of 10 men was on the loose but the stone-cold and pissed-off death row inmate he rescued from execution was also running amok, while mercilessly gunning down his highly trained security detail. Make a break for an exit? Nope. He’d either get cut in half by his pig son, bludgeoned or hacked to death by the death row badass, or accidentally shot down by his security team. Hide somewhere? That’s also a no. He literally couldn't leave his office. And his bodyguards were no use because the two intruders they were supposed to kill were picking them off easily. Istg, if I were in his shoes I’d throat that pocket revolver of his and blow it before Cash even reached the door to my office. Also if you were wondering why I keep referring to Piggsy as Stark’s kid, it’s a headcanon/theory of mine. I posted about it waaaay back this year. Ok now I'm going to bed.

(Dont know if this was ever brought up before) Ok, so we all know that the manhunt games and GTA ect. are in the 3d universe and they are all connected in some way. But that raises the question would manhunt 3 be set in a different universe than the first 2 games? Like I wouldn't think R* would bring back the 3d universe after nearly 20 years (manhunt 2 was the last of the 3d games in 2007). So if we are following that logic, could any of the caricters from the games even exist in the 3rd installment?

Hey! Per the request of some ppl, I’m doing my hunter gang drawings. For these I will draw a member of the gang, and go over the gang’s attributes! Here‘s a rundown of this gang:

Del Lobo Motorcycle Club

Description: White and Mexican-American motorcycle club. Made up of ex-soldiers and immigrants who’ve been screwed over by the system. Their banding together as a biker gang leads society to continue treating them like social pariahs. Working for Mr. Nasty due to wanting to fight against “the man.” Ride Freeway motorcycles and are found around the War Zone/International District, and the warehouse district in downtown after dark.
Weapons: Colt M1911-inspired handgun (pictured in the drawing) Desert Eagle, sawn-off shotgun, brass knuckles, metal bat, lead pipe

Del Lobos members will ride their motorcycles around the level area patrolling for Eddie (the protagonist) Their Freeway choppers will have headlights that can spot Eddie, and Eddie can set traps to make them fall off of their bikes.

The Lobos are highly loyal to one another, and try to always patrol in groups of at least two. Lobos will ignore civilians if they run into them, or give them a passing warning or greeting (depending on their personality) but will threaten rival gang members who come onto their territory.

In GTA 2, one of the first gangs you encounter in the Downtown District is the "Loonies." They are, quite visibly, completely insane patients from the Sunnyside asylum who have taken control of the place. The gang’s symbol is a yellow smiley face with one eye winking. In Manhunt, the "Smileys" are a group of demented, armed inmates from the Darkwoods Penitentiary who have taken control of the asylum. Their most striking feature is the use of yellow smiley-face masks.

Looking at concept art from the early stages of Manhunt’s development, there's a variety of color palettes in the environments, vivid shades of blue, green, orange, and red. While some buildings and structures are imposing and tall, everything aligns perfectly with a grim, raw urban "20 minutes into the future" aesthetic much like the setting of GTA 2’s retro-futuristic metropolis, "Anywhere City" (especially when playing with the "Dusk" lighting setting).

Of course, while this is likely just a coincidence, with no actual connection between the titles, as they belong to distinct universes, it is interesting to note that the concept of "asylum patients who go mad, take control of the asylum, turn it into their base, and begin walking around heavily armed" was revisited by Rockstar in a later game. Perhaps the idea simply appealed to the developers enough that they decided to use it again.

I know that GTA 2 was released in 1999 and that the development of Manhunt didn't truly begin until around 2000, even so, it’s not that large a gap in time. I’m not saying that Rockstar drew inspiration from the "Loonies" to create the "Smileys," but rather that this was a concept they decided to repurpose later on in the development process since I doubt the "Smileys" existed during the game's pre-production phases.

Hi :) I‘ve been thinking a lot about what a good Manhunt 3 would look like, so I’ve come up with a protagonist: Eduardo “Eddie“ La Hoya. He’s a local young man who’s disgusted by what Mr. Nasty and his ring are doing to Duke City and its residents. This is what motivates his tracking down of Nasty (I haven’t figured out if he goes after him first or gets kidnapped) but as the game goes on, the player’s actions through Eddie will determine if you get a virtuous or rage fueled ending. Hope this was an interesting concept, lmk what you think of the design and personality :)

So this has been bothering me for years, on the bonus section that shows off the head models there's one that I've not only never seen in the game.. but have no idea what it's even supposed to be. Lower left, between the Smiley and Journalist. It kinda looks like a BDSM style mask but I can't entirely make it out, and that doesn't explain what it's doing here. What's even weirder is all the head models shown are ones in-game, no beta or unused models are shown so it really stands out
