Hello, I have a 39 year old macaw who ive owned for about 7 years. Hes pretty friendly with our family and likes public spaces where my dad usually takes him to car shows for people to hold and take photos with, Even ive taken him to work so he can eat a pup cup. He can talk but only chooses to when he wants something and lets everyone pet him. When I got back from vacation he threw up as soon as he saw me. What im worried is that since we live in the midwest there is a period of time where he cant be outside because of the weather. He isnt plucking his feathers or refusing to be held but I think after seeing some tik tok videos it made me realize Im probably not engaging with him as much as I should.
