A cyberpunk future requires corporations to become powerful enough to influence society and government. I think the US is more likely to develop this kind of society because its political and economic systems allow corporations to exert significant influence. Other countries may have powerful corporations too, but seem less willing to let them dominate the state. Even culturally, their governments won't allow corporations be far more powerful than their government.

This game is so damn good, I simply can't put it down. Really made an effort this time around to finish this game as completely as possible, every side job, every NCPD scanner. I don't think I'll explore the other endings, I've gotten a taste of them from other peoples runs and I feel satisfied knowing really only two endings are considered "happy" endings. For now, I think The Star is my favorite one, and it fits thematically well. You can't beat Night City, you can only leave with the ones you love.

Smasher's death might play a bigger role than people realize. in greek mythology "orion" is a giant huntsman, so maybe the title could tie into the villain who is assentailly suppose to replace smasher (maybe "Orion" is that character's designated name by Arasaka) and the other corps are building their own boogy man "project Artimis" could be buotechnica’s Adam Smasher equivalent (Artemis is the Greek goddess of hunting who is also Orion’s rival in the myths) and "Project scorpio" could become militech's equivalent (Scorpio is a scorpion monster sent by Gaia cause of how annoying Orion was….yes that’s the actual reason why 🤣) honest to god I don’t even believe my own theory….but what do you guys think?

One Console mod I hope to see is a Trauma Team fit. Not like the one we can get from the arcade I mean ones like the NPCs have. I want to do a run as a Rogue Trauma Team member hunting down Arasaka and Others.

Anyone know how to keep a PS5 from freezing with a bunch of buffs active? Or should I just smile proudly at how busted my V build is lmao. Happens very consistently, no mods installed, happens with basically any tech weapon.

So I decided to replay Cyberpunk 2077 after the 2.5 update. I downloaded a few mods on Xbox nothing that should alter the game since mods are limited to what we have. I completed the Heist and Johnny & V had a very fun conversation as normal. After I woke up in the shower the main quest doesn’t update & have no quests directions, I can’t interact with the Gun Shop in the mega building. Weirdly I get a call from Ma’am Welles. The Gig with Wakako doesn’t update to indicate that the lockdown has been lifted, but I can leave to other parts of NC. Not sure if the mods are the cause or if the update messed up something. So rip Male Corpo that cleared out all of Watson missions. Any advice would be appreciated.

The only troubleshooting I have been able to do is reload an old save, restart my system, made sure my mods were updated.
