I re-released an old favorite of mine which helped me through some bad times

When you're looking beyond the familiar names, where do you actually find lo-fi house worth keeping: label pages, DJ mixes, YouTube channels, Bandcamp, or other listeners?

And what makes you give an unfamiliar track a chance: a short description of the sound, the person recommending it, or hearing it in a mix?

I'm building a small house-discovery project called NOTW (Niche of the Week), so this is also a founder question. The idea is a weekly selection of official track links chosen by listeners. I'd like it to help smaller artists get heard rather than become another popularity chart.

Would seeing a weekly top 10 be useful to you, or would that miss the way you prefer to discover lo-fi house? Honest reasons you wouldn't use it are welcome too.

Heavily inspired by the avant-garde sonic landscapes of Nicolas Jaar and the emotional depth of David August, this set is designed for deep listening. The journey moves from the melodic piano house grooves of "A Banquet of Sweet Sounds" and transitions at the 4:10 mark into a dark, hypnotic world of leftfield house vibes under "A Kaleshte Vare Tare".
