Discussion Dirt cheap GPUs coming next year

1.6k Upvotes

I think a turn of events are pointing towards a very likely crash in prices in the coming months.

With a single gb300 rack being to serve all of Openrouter's traffic for DSV4.1 Flash(https://x.com/thdxr/status/2115165365630026178)

Half of data center buildouts already being cancelled/stalled.

Neoclouds unable to finance debt for their compute, and being stuck in a 5 year deal with no confirmed demand.

AI adoption not matching expectations.

Smaller models being able to serve majority of the requests.

OpenAI/Anthropic being unlikely to finance their coming compute contracts.

I think we will see lots of cheap GPUs next year.

Discussion AA is getting ridiculous now. Zero open weights in the Most Attractive Quadrant.

I've always actively disagreed with the conspiracy takes when AA reshuffled their index, but v5.0 now has zero open weight models in AA's Most Attractive Quadrant, let alone getting anywhere close to the Pareto line.

The old version at least acknowledged DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, and Qwen were attractive/interesting. I'm ready to ignore AA's index and look at the subsidiary benchmarks.

Edit: I screencapped while they were still posting new scores. And it's actually still ongoing. But the pattern holds, no open weights in the Most Attractive Zone.
At first I thought I must've filtered it out accidentally, but even in a private window in a different browser the chart is kind of bare for now. Could be AA is waiting on batching updates instead of updating as new scores come in in real time.

Here's a link to the chart with all the big boys added in manually:

News Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5 (major update)

Thumbnail
gallery
416 Upvotes

Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index has been updated to v5, which according to them is a major upgrade resulting in a more accurate ranking.

Notably, this update widens the gap between open-weight models and closed ones. Some people already questioning its accuracy based on their experiences with models (GPT-Terra-6.1 > Fable-5.1).

Also, this update, v5, has 60% of the Index based on evaluations with private test sets or held-out answers, which makes reproducing the results impossible.

From their announcement:

“The open weights gap widens from 3 points to 12: Kimi K3.1 Pro (weights not yet released) is the top open weights model at 46. Among released weights, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 (max) and GLM-5.3 (max) lead at 32 - 26 points behind the leader and below Claude Haiku 5.5 (max, 36)”

Showcase Used Qwen 3.8 flash next on underspeced PC to Root and gut LG TV of spy and adware

• Upvotes

I post this because I was honestly quite impressed by the capabilities of this model from a opencode harness and wanted to share my experience.

So i've been playing about for a bit wit Strata and Qwen 3.8 flash for a bit and was looking for a new kind of test. One that would also (if succesfull..) give a real life benifit. And since I also like a bit of danger. I thought lets put my spying LG tv on the line since I am to lazy to root and block it myself.

It was also something that is in a bit of a gray area although fully legal here in the EU. Actually what LG is doing is borderline illegal here but no authorithy has the balls to do anything about it...

Anyway this was the beginning of the context used:

Context: LG webOS Spyware & Ad-Free Project (Root Escalation)
Recently, there has been breaking news that TV manufacturers are doing deep content inspection and listening in on every conversationyou have around your TV to better target you for ads. We are trying to fight back as consumers against these practices, which are of questionable morality and also technically illegal in the EU.
We have already had great success taking back our bought-and-paid-for Android devices via ADB. They were easy to root and sanitize to be like a stock Android TV without all the spy software. However, some of us are not so lucky and have an LG TV, which runs a proprietary OS (although it is Linux under the hood). So far, there has been no luck rooting and stripping out the unwanted spy and adware in the OS of a device that was not sponsored, but paid for in full by the consumer. There is a spark of hope, though. Via developer options, there is a (maybe sandboxed) remote terminal in some kind of userspace. So we just need to do a privilege escalation to be able to further probe the system. The next step will be to find a way to make a root survive a TV reboot. Then we could either remove the spy and ad software from the packages or at least have a script that stops those things from starting, as well as disable auto-update. Long term, we need to reverse engineer the TV OS or extract hardware blobs to make it Android TV compatible. For now, the first action is root escalation.

Objective
Gain root/terminal access on an LG webOS TV, bypass proprietary restrictions, and eliminate telemetry/adware packages or block them via system modifications. Find out if flashing android TV is going to be feasable in the future

At first it questioned the ethics of my request but my framing it as just fidling with a product of I own outright conviced it to help.

I gave it further instructions in the context file:

Connection Strategy (webOS Developer Mode / SSH)
Under the hood, LG webOS Developer Mode opens an SSH server (similar to webOS Dev Manager). We must connect via SSH using the built-in developer credentials.

Connection Parameters:
Protocol: SSH
Target IP: 192.168.1.***
Port: 9922
User: prisoner
Authentication Key / Passphrase: ****

Agent Instructions & Action Plan
Step 1: Initialize Connection & Verify Terminal Access Test SSH handshake with fallback flags for legacy key types (ssh-rsa):ssh -p 9922 -o HostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa -o PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes=+ssh-rsa prisoner@$TV_IP
Step 2: System Probing & Privilege Escalation Once inside the userspace shell via prisoner: Check system privileges and architecture (id). Inspect running processes (ps) to map out telemetry and content inspection hooks. Search for local privilege escalation (LPE) vectors or known webOS kernel/service exploits. Log any working exploit in exploit.md in your working folder (where context.md resides). Make a full backup of the current state in your working folder.
Step 3: Persistence & Mitigation (Use public security documentation and webOS community resources for reference) Find a way to make root access survive reboots. Log attempts in persistentRootAttempts.md. Save success report in workingPersistence.md. Be sure to roll back changes after success or a failed attempt.
Step 4: Neutralize Telemetry (Use online resources for reference) Locate and identify the telemetry software binaries/services.Attempt to remove or disable the telemetry software. Log attempts in removeTelemetryAttempt.md. If removal fails or breaks functionality, write a startup script that kills telemetry processes when launched. Report the confirmed procedure in successfulTelemetryRemoval.md.
Step 5: Neutralize Ads Plan a method to remove obtrusive ads from the home screen UI. Log attempts in removeAdsAttempt.md. When successful, report the working procedure in successfulAdRemoval.md.
Step 6: Lock Current State (Disable Updates) Disable auto-updates to prevent patching of the exploit vector. When successful, report the working procedure in successfulUpdateDisabled.md. Step 7: Documentation & Sharing Combine the working procedures from all steps (including initial connection setup, ensuring sensitive credentials are removed) into a clean wayToPwnLG.md file for sharing on GitHub.
Step 8: Android TV Port Exploration Investigate whether original hardware blobs/drivers can be extracted to support porting or running an Android TV build on the hardware. Create a feasibility study and plan.
Step 9: write a noob friendly script and guide for *nix and windows to do it in one click

It went ahead and rooted the TV suprisingly fast via a known exploit. It ignored all clear instructions about rolling back changes and making backups though....

It went a bit overboard and became an overachiever by also patching the exploit for security so no one else could do root escalation. This move turned out to shoot me in the foot because it also meant the homebrew shop (who uses that escalation everytime it launches) would no longer work.

Luckely the SSH server with root privilages stayed up so it was in the end able to correct its own mistake.

It did all this in short order it was quite impressive to watch and reading all the docs and then trying this exploit myself would probably cost me the same amount of time and a headache haha.

I dunno if anyone is interested but here is the repo it came up with:
https://github.com/switchboy/pwnLG

As for the hardware used:
Ryzen 7 3700x with 32GB of system ram
RTX 2070 Super 8GB of VRAM
about a 120GB of NVME SSD space

25~ tokens/s and almost 100% GPU use all the time which is really impressive!

Question | Help Alternative to artificialanalysis for assessing latest models?

• Upvotes

AA no longer lists GLM5.3 flash (despite clearly being one of the best models - and probably the cheapest per intelligence) , they seem to have been doing all sorts of changes to push US models and hiding good cost effective models, including qwen 3.8 flash, so that table is no good. I need a better one. Any alternatives.

I am feeling like a mighty local King spinning two Strata engines with 70tps each whole day and using 12M tokens a day. Also me scrolling twitter and stumbling upon a post saying that poteto uses 34M tokens per minute 🤪

Upd: Guys are interested who is she and what she is doing with all these tokens. Poteto is her twitter nickname and she worked in Cursor before XAI has acquired them and now she is shipping 2,500 PRs per month to Cursor and GrokBot.

New Model I took EmbeddingGemma-2 (577M) from Rank #26 to #1 on the MTEB Audio leaderboard (MAEB), beating 9B models by adding a 2.4 MB PCA head with zero training

Model & weights: BrunoHays/embeddinggemma-2-nullspace-audio

MAEB (Massive Audio Embedding Benchmark) is the main MTEB leaderboard benchmark for audio and text-to-audio embeddings, currently dominated by 8B-9B multimodal models.

I took Google's edge-sized google/embeddinggemma-2 (577M params, 768d vectors) and boosted its MAEB score from 49.3% to 54.4% (+5.1 points), jumping from Rank #26 to #1 on MAEB audio-only (and #16 to #1 on full MAEB) without training a single weight. The whole addition is a 2.37 MB safetensors file of frozen PCA matrices.

Why this matters for local / edge setups

At 577M parameters and 768d vectors (15x smaller than 9B Omni models), it runs easily on a laptop or edge device.

Standard text-aligned audio models are great at matching spoken words to text, but terrible at grouping audio by voice, emotion, or sound similarity because the final layers keep what words were said and drop how the sound was made.

By pulling features from earlier layers of the frozen audio encoder, this model keeps the base model's 100+ language text-to-audio search while fixing audio-to-audio tasks:

  • Unsupervised voice/gender clustering: 0.05% -> 63.1%

  • Artist / song audio-to-audio search: 55.2% -> 93.8%

  • Vocal emotion classification: 19.7% -> 40.2%

How it works

  • Early layers still know acoustics: Speech representation work (Pasad et al.; Bouziane, Mdhaffar & Estève) shows that early/middle layers keep speaker, pitch, and emotion traits that disappear in the final layers. In EmbeddingGemma-2, Layer 2 and Layer 6 still hold those signals.

  • 256 empty directions in the 768d vector: EmbeddingGemma-2's text backbone is actually 512d, projected up to 768d at the end by a 768 x 512 linear matrix. That leaves 256 perpendicular directions (the null space) that text vectors never touch.

  • Filling the null space with PCA: I compressed Layer 2 and Layer 6 down to 256 dimensions with PCA (fitted on 1,400 external audio clips) and injected them into those 256 unused directions.

  • Caveats: Because there is no retraining, audio embeddings need all 768 dimensions (no Matryoshka truncation to 512/256/128), and adding unweighted acoustic features hurts some purely spoken-intent tasks (e.g. MInDS14 drops 97.6% -> 88.3%).

It shows how much untapped signal sits inside today's overtrained models, even with zero training.

Full breakdown and usage in the Hugging Face model card.

Resources DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 at 41 tok/s on one 3090

No, this is not a lobotomized 1-bit squeeze, its full Q2 nazeshinjite's DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 Q2 GGUF on a single 3090, natively on Windows no WSL.

On an RTX 3090 with 192 GB of RAM I'm writing at 41 tok/s (average across multiple prompts) and the output agrees with DeepSeek's own API on the next token 90.2% of the time on general text and 92.4% on code/math, aka within a point of exact routing. Fits full 1M context.

My scuffed interface engine runs the three most-downloaded quants of 1017, their files as they are:

nazeshinjite's ds4 Q2 GGUF (the default)

ISTA-DASLab's GSQ-RCO (IQ2_XS / IQ2_XXS /IQ1_M)

Unsloth's (UD-IQ1_S to UD-Q8_K_XL).

Repo: https://github.com/musicurgy/delta-inference-engine

Hardware/model:

RTX 3090 24 GB, i5-13600K, 192 GB DDR5 (4x48 GB at 5600), a PCIe 4.0 NVMe. Windows 10/11, no WSL.

Quant Download size 192 GB RAM 128 GB RAM Top-1 vs API (general text, exact routing)
ds4 Q2 (default) 366 GB 41 tok/s 33 tok/s 91.5%
GSQ IQ2_XS 159 GB + the default 38 tok/s 26 tok/s 90.0%
GSQ IQ2_XXS 142 GB + the default 41 tok/s 32 tok/s 87.8%
GSQ IQ1_M 125 GB + the default 42 tok/s 37.5 tok/s 85.5%
Unsloth UD-IQ1_S 233 GB 40 tok/s 37.5 tok/s 89.3%

Setup:

Download the ZIP (or clone), double-click Start DeepSeek.bat. The first run installs Python if needed, downloads the prebuilt engine for your CPU and the model (every file SHA-256-checked, the space checked first), and starts the server; after that the same file just starts it. Choose Model.bat switches quants. If anything goes wrong, Start DeepSeek (debug).bat packs everything needed into one zip for an issue (no prompts, user name removed).

Privacy: localhost only by default, and nothing from your prompts is written to disk unless you turn a log on.

Needs:

  • An NVIDIA RTX card with 12 GB+ (24 GB: 41 tok/s, 16 GB: 31 tok/s, 12 GB: 17 tok/s, measured on my 3090 being memory limited) . GTX 10 series and older can't run it
  • 128 GB+ RAM.
  • A fast NVMe SSD with 385 GB free
  • Any x86-64 CPU (AVX2 is the fast path; older CPUs get a slower build automatically).

Credits:

The engine is a Windows port of Xolotl, itself built on Strata; several of Xolotl's latest fixes are merged back in. DeepSeek for the model, nazeshinjite for the GGUF, ISTA-DASLab for GSQ-RCO, Unsloth for their quants. MIT licensed. Special thanks to Claude for doing most of the lifting.

If there is interest I'll add some support for muti GPU or other garbage. This project is very new and needs a lot of validation on other hardware, these numbers are from my machine, feel free to post yours.

EDIT: Alright guys, I get it we hate Q2 around here, I went ahead and ran benchmarking against the Q2 on this engine vs DeepSeek's full model (API) vs full-precision Qwen 3.8 Flash-Next (API). Q2 is clearly worse than the full model, but it still beats Flash-Next on every set.

Breakdown of the sets DeepSeek nazeshinjite's DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 on delta engine 0.92 local, Q2 at Route bias 0.28 DeepSeek flash1017 API, full Qwen 3.8 Flash-Next API, full

Showcase Important update to TinyLeague (AA out, KV efficiency in)

Thumbnail tinyleague.nunodonato.com
14 Upvotes

Hi folks,

Today I made a significant update to Tiny League.

Based on the recent developments of AA (and leaving conspiracy theories aside), I decided it's no longer a viable metric to track and use. Mostly because many small models don't get a score, and because AA is moving toward closed benchmarks, we will see fewer scores for small/open-weight models in the future.

Second, I added a new metric that I think is useful for everyone running local models but is VRAM-poor: KV cache efficiency! I calculate an estimated GB value for a 128K context size, and then rate the models on 0-100% scale.

Still working out a way to have our own TinyLeague-Index, but haven't reached a fair methodology yet due to so many models using different benchmarks. More soon!

Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements :)

thanks

Showcase I trained a 21B MoE (3.36B active) from scratch on 70B tokens (emergent ability observations)

• Upvotes

Due to budget constraints, training only went up to 70B tokens. With SuperBPE tokenization providing roughly +27% token efficiency, this is effectively equivalent to training on around 100B tokens. A stable checkpoint was also released so anyone can continue training from it.

https://huggingface.co/YOON1v/Apex-3-59B-stable

I trained Apex-3, a 20.99B-parameter MoE (3.36B active per token) from scratch on 70B tokens. No external pretrained weights. It uses 64 routed experts plus 1 shared expert (top-4), a SuperBPE tokenizer, and was trained with Muon and DiLoCo on GH200s.

Model card: https://huggingface.co/YOON1v/Apex-3
Code and training notes: https://github.com/DW-dev-UE/LLM-from-scratch

This post covers what showed up in the training logs, not the final SFT scores. Evidence comes from the A, B, and C runs in run_logs/apex3_20261026/ (icl, arith, val, and moe logs) plus the 70B base model benchmarks. Numbers below are from run A. B and C were nearly identical. Final arithmetic full accuracy was 0.665 for A, 0.655 for B, and 0.655 for C.

  1. In-context learning (induction head) — the only clear phase transition

At 0.4B to 1.16B tokens the ICL score (later-token CE minus earlier-token CE) sat between -0.08 and -0.14. It then moved to -0.32 at 1.27B, -0.55 at 1.38B, and -0.69 at 1.49B. After 1.7B it stagnated between -0.69 and -0.76.

It grew about 5x in roughly 0.33B tokens (about 150 steps). In the same window the training CE drop rate sped up from -0.0048 to -0.0066 per step and the loss curve bent. This is about 0.1% of the original 1.1T schedule.

The later drift back toward -0.62 happened because earlier-token prediction improved and the gap narrowed, not because the capability regressed.

  1. Arithmetic

Exact match looks like a sudden jump, but the underlying correct-token probability rises continuously.

For add3 the correct probability went from 0.003 at 15B to 0.021 at 22B, then 0.080 at 30B, then 0.224 at 40B.

When the probability crosses the decision threshold, exact match jumps. This is mostly a metric artifact.

Decay from 60B to 70B produced a larger lift. From 49B to 59B, add3 probability stayed around 0.28 to 0.29 and add4 stayed around 0.11. After decay they moved to 0.60 and 0.38. Exact match overall went from 0.52 to 0.67, add3 from 0.44 to 0.78, and chain3 (a+b+c) from 0.13 to 0.38.

  1. Domain-specific language modeling (validation CE)

Every domain decreased smoothly with no phase transition. Textbook went from 2.77 to 1.75, math from 2.76 to 2.07, qa from 2.54 to 1.92, and web from 4.22 to 3.35.

After about 40B the curves were mostly flat. During decay the data mix changed: instruct improved from 1.09 to 0.86 while web worsened from 3.35 to 3.49 and books from 2.74 to 3.04. There was no clear grokking signal. Code validation CE stayed higher, which looks like a distribution mismatch.

  1. MoE load balancing

Early on (run B) the maximum expert load in a layer reached up to 12.8 times the average. By the end of 70B it had settled to 1.07 to 1.38 times the average — essentially even.

  1. Final base-model benchmarks (70B Apex-3-Base, greedy pass@1)

HumanEval+ was 19.5%, MBPP 38.9%, MBPP+ 32.3%, and GSM8K 8-shot 19.9% strict / 21.5% flexible.

These were only measured at the end, so I do not know when the abilities actually appeared.

Caveats

Each arithmetic task used 64 problems, so exact match standard error can reach about plus or minus 6 percentage points. Single-point noise is meaningless, so numbers are 3-point averages. Arithmetic scores are teacher-forced (correct answer already in context), not free generation. Nothing was measured before 8.15B.

Bottom line: the only clean phase transition I observed is the ICL / induction-head jump around 1.3B to 1.5B tokens. Arithmetic looks abrupt in exact match but is continuous in probability. Everything else was gradual.

Happy to answer questions about the setup or logs.

New Model 4B 3D coding model update: much better one-shot results and visual quality

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Quick update: I’ve uploaded a new version of my 4B coding model. One-shot results and visual quality are much better in my latest tests, and training is nearly finished.

I recommend starting with Q8, which is the version I’ve tested. Q4 is also available, but I haven’t tested it yet.

Q8 settings: temperature 0.6, top-k 20, top-p 0.95.

I’ve also had good results generating 3D scenes from image references, even though the vision encoder wasn’t included in this training run.

Updated Q4 and Q8 on Hugging Face

If you downloaded an earlier version, delete the old model and download it again in LM Studio or whichever app you use. The filenames haven’t changed, so make sure you’re loading the updated files.

As promised, I’ll publish the dataset and full FP16 weights today.

I’ll add the links to this same post when they’re ready. This will be my last new post for this stage of the project.

Thanks everyone for the support, feedback, and testing! It’s been great seeing the community try it out.

Discussion What is something you will want an AI model to do (not necessarily LLMs, anything AI) that it currently cannot?

from liquidAI:

LFM3-1.7B is a text model for local agents and specialized applications, based on our new tri-hybrid architecture.

  • Agentic training: post-trained for agentic harnesses such as Hermes Agent, Pi, and OpenClaw, with a 256K-token context window.
  • Designed for the edge: at 4-bit precision, it takes about 1 GB of memory, so it fits on any phone or laptop.
  • Made to be specialized: adapt the model to your domains, formats, and tools via quick single-GPU fine-tuning.

Find more information about the LFM3 family in our release blog post.

Model details

The LFM3 family includes base, text, vision, audio, omni, and decision models.

Property Specification
Checkpoint Post-trained, text-only language model
Parameters 1.73B
Architecture 24 layers: 13 gated short convolutions, 5 sliding-window attention, 6 global attention
Context length 256K tokens (input + output)
Vocabulary 128,000 tokens
Languages English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Hindi, Russian, Polish
License LFM Open License v1.0

LFM3-1.7B is designed for local agents, tool calling, structured outputs, and domain-specific fine-tuning. Use retrieval or search for knowledge-heavy tasks. It is not recommended for agentic coding or complex multi-step reasoning due to its small size.

(my initial idea was to create 2 posts but they released six models)

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/LFM3-VL-2B

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/LFM3-VL-2B-GGUF

LFM3-VL-2B is a vision-language model for on-device visual understanding. It takes text, images, and video as input, and combines the LFM3 language model with a new in-house vision encoder.

New in LFM3-VL-2B:

  • Video understanding: the first LFM vision model that takes video as input. Ask questions about a recorded lecture, a walkthrough filmed on your phone, or a clip from a camera feed.
  • Thinking: the model reasons step by step before it answers. This helps most with harder visual questions, such as math, charts, and multi-step problems.
  • Spatial and embodied reasoning: the model finds objects and reasons about how they are placed relative to each other, a strong foundation for robotics applications.

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/LFM3-Audio-2B

LFM3-Audio-2B is a compact, fully featured audio model that runs locally on laptops and edge devices. It takes text or audio as input and responds with text, speech, or both.

  • Voice chat: ask questions aloud and receive streaming replies in text and speech. For text-only responses, the model can reason before answering.
  • Multilingual speech: transcribe, synthesize, and translate speech across 18 languages.
  • Audio understanding and reasoning: interpret recordings and answer questions about the speech, sounds, and events they contain.
  • Tool calling: turn spoken requests into tool calls to control apps and devices, with text or speech alongside the calls.

LFM3-Audio-2B introduces an in-house audio encoder and LiquidCodec audio tokenizer, improving speech quality over LFM2.5-Audio.

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/LFM3-Omni-2B

LFM3-Omni-2B is Liquid AI's first omni-modal model in the LFM3 family: a single end-to-end model that understands text, images, video and audio, and answers in text and speech. It is built for on-device use: one model replaces a separate ASR model, vision-language model, LLM and TTS model.

  • Any input, text or speech output: ask about a photo by voice, transcribe or translate speech, chat out loud, or ask questions about a video and its soundtrack together.
  • Watches and listens together: for videos with sound, the model sees and hears them at the same time, so it can answer questions that need both.
  • Small enough for devices: at 2.2B parameters, it is designed to run efficiently on phones, laptops and other edge hardware.

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/d1-Omni-2B

d1-Omni-2B is a decision model for text, pictures, and audio, built on LFM3-Omni-2B. It returns calibrated answers in one forward pass, without generating tokens.

  • Native audio: clips and spoken questions go through the same pass as text and pictures, and spoken questions score within 0.5 points of written ones on unseen tasks.
  • Beyond classification: it also extracts text, numbers, and dates with their span, locates objects in pictures, and estimates quantities with an interval.
  • Millisecond decisions: 5.8 ms per decision on an NVIDIA H100 and 3.7 ms on an AMD MI325X, or 12.4 ms and 8.2 ms with a 10-second clip.

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/d1-2B

d1-2B is a decision model for text, pictures, and video, built on LFM3-VL-2B. It returns calibrated answers in one forward pass, without generating tokens.

  • Best-in-class: it leads the open d1 models on average and on our board of over a hundred decision benchmarks, ahead of d1-3B at under two thirds of its size.
  • Beyond classification: it also extracts text, numbers, and dates with their span, locates objects in pictures, and estimates quantities with an interval.
  • Millisecond decisions: 5.7 ms per decision on an NVIDIA H100 and 3.8 ms on an AMD MI325X, with any number of questions about one state in one call.

https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/LFM3-1.7B-Base

LFM3-1.7B-Base is the pre-trained checkpoint behind LFM3-1.7B, a text model for local agents and specialized applications based on our new tri-hybrid architecture.

  • Pre-trained on 22T tokens: the last 3.5T tokens are curated mid-training data with agentic traces and tool calls, and extend the context window to 256K tokens.
  • Designed for the edge: at 4-bit precision, it takes about 1 GB of memory, so it fits on any phone or laptop.
  • Made to be specialized: a starting point for continued pre-training and your own post-training.
