Article Sacramento Kings want Acuff bad and he apparently also wants to join them.
According to some Sac Kings journalists they say the player deciding which team he wants to play for is a very big deal and he wants to play for the SAC kings since he would likely start for them and play a bigger role than in a team like LAC that has an all star level PG in Garland?
Sac Kings have the 7th pick and it seems unlikely to me that 7 teams will pass on a talent like Acuff Jr that has been compared to a Dame Lillard - BUT the player choosing to want to play for a SPECIFIC team, seems very important.
Thoughts? Really want this guy as he is the most talented pure PG three level scorer and averaging the most assists, some of his passes are a joy to watch.

Article [Givony] Darius Acuff measured out as a near-physical match for Damian Lillard: 6'2 barefoot, 6'7 wingspan, 186 pounds. Mikel Brown Jr.'s closest physical comp in the DX database is a young Derrick White: identical height, weight and wingspan, with Brown boasting a longer-reach.

Darius Acuff measured out as a near-physical match for Damian Lillard's 2012 pre-draft numbers: 6'2 barefoot, 6'7 wingspan, ~186 pounds, at 2.5 years younger than Lillard at Weber State.
Mikel Brown Jr.'s closest physical comp in the DX database is a young Derrick White: identical height, weight and wingspan, with Brown boasting a longer-reach at nearly 3 years younger.
Oh and the haters on ''small guards'' here should know that Acuff Jr and Mikel Brown Jr both have a wingspan thats bigger than Wagler and that Jalen Brunson has the Most clutch points since 2023 (149) Most 4Q points since 2022 (535) Jalen Brunson's 9.3 4Q PPG this postseason are the most for a player to reach the NBA Finals since Dirk Nowitzki in 2011 and Jalen Brunson has averaged 25.7 points, 5.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 84 games in the playoffs in his career.
Acuff Jr is taller and has a bigger wingspan than Jalen Brunson.
But casuals here want Wagler because he is bigger (except the wingspan) - a better defender (he's not a good defender) and apparently he plays like a young SGA ( Laughable to anyone who actually watched SGA in college).
Oh and the SGA comps - SGA is a Calipari guard and the greatest Calipari guard based of college statistics is Acuff Jr, and this includes other guys such as Derrick Rose, Tyrese Maxxey, Devin Booker, Jamal Murray etc etc.

Article [Siegel] As the Clippers continue to discuss Kawhi Leonard's future, Celtics' Jaylen Brown has emerged as a key trade target for LA.
-While the Clippers are open to all calls coming their way from rival teams interested in Leonard, the team has rebuffed offers to this point, as reported by ClutchPoints on Sunday evening. To this point, the Clippers have been underwhelmed by the value presented in such a scenario with Toronto, with sources describing Toronto’s offer as “one-sided.”
-The Clippers are said to hold Collin Murray-Boyles in high regard, but sources have indicated that the Raptors have no desire to trade the young forward.
-Keeping Kawhi has been expressed by President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank as the Clippers’ top priority. This has been known since their season ended in the play-in tournament, but LA wants to do so on their terms financially. From Leonard’s perspective, his camp is pushing for a full two-year max extension, which is valued slightly higher than $120 million.
-The Raptors appear willing to offer the extension Leonard is seeking in a potential reunion, which is why Kawhi’s camp is putting pressure on the Clippers to either pay him or trade him this offseason.
-If the Clippers were to move on from Leonard and not pay him the extension he’s looking for, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown would be LA’s top target to replace the two-time NBA Finals MVP, league sources told ClutchPoints.
-Whether or not there could be a potential path to a Leonard-Brown swap between Boston and LA is unknown, but the Clippers’ top priority in a potential trade involving Kawhi would be to find a way to land Brown from the Celtics.
-The Clippers have had a level of interest in Jaylen Brown, who has three years and $183 million left on his deal with the Celtics. Brown is also eligible for an extension this summer, which could factor into Boston’s decision to strike while the iron is hot.
