I was just wondering about something. For those of you living in Kuwait, what’s one thing about daily life here that genuinely frustrates you?

It could be anything — dealing with paperwork, finding reliable services, shopping, commuting, managing expenses, using apps, or even something that seems like a small problem but happens all the time.

Sometimes I feel like there are so many little inconveniences in everyday life that people have simply gotten used to them.

If you could fix one thing about living in Kuwait, what would it be?

Would love to hear your experiences. Curious to know what other people here deal with on a daily basis!

This is for a friend of mine. He got his entry visa with Manager as title, completed home country degree and PG attestation, medicals came to Kuwait, finished Medicals in country but during residency processing the gov is not accepting the educational qualification because it was done as distance program.

The university he did his both degree and PG is valid, accredited and approved in his home country.

What can be done now?

I took an admission in AOU and I asked them for work permit but they said they don't provide that and I asked around but everyone says that you need to change ur visa to article 18 but I don't want to and would want to stay on 22

I heard before I can get the work permit for part time from university and work but now it's suddenly not an option?

Does anyone who knows the law well tell me if I can work part time as a student on article 22?

Power outlet works , checked with other devices . It seem that the fiber box has no power (no light) went to MOC last week showed an Image and gave us a number. No one visited yet and every time i go to them they keep on saying wait your turn with no information whatsoever

Anyone had this issue, help or what to do.

I’ve been waiting for a shipment for a very long time and I just found out that it actually got delivered to the post office weeks ago but they never contacted me. I want to contact them to figure out the issue but I have no idea how post offices work and what kind of post office would have my shipment or how to even get their number.

يوم العمل الطويل المجهد + قلة الاجازات (حتى المرضية بطلوع الروح) مو بس غير انساني، بعد هو أهم سبب يخلي الكويتيين يتجهون للحكومة و يبتعدون عن الخاص و صراحة ما ألومهم.
شخصياً اقترح قانون اجباري لتقليل ساعات العمل اليومية في جميع القطاعات

After the 6-hour mark of the working day in the private sector I had always noticed that my mental and physical energy would be completely drained, and after 8 hours I would go back home feeling like a shell with no soul.
An 8 hour work day/6 days a week is not only inhuman but is also the main reason Kuwaitis prefer the public sector and I do not blame them.
I do support mandatory shortening of the working day especially in the private sector.

I moved to Kuwait with my family when I was just 2 years old, and I basically spent my entire childhood and teenage years there. Kuwait was the only home I ever really knew.

In 2007, I left Kuwait and moved to Australia. It's been almost 20 years now, but honestly, there's still a part of me that never left.

I can't really explain it, but Kuwait holds such a special place in my heart. The people, the streets, the food, the malls, the atmosphere, even the little everyday things I probably took for granted growing up. Sometimes I find myself randomly remembering places and moments from my childhood, and I get this overwhelming feeling of nostalgia.

Australia has been my home for nearly two decades, but whenever I think about my childhood, it's always Kuwait that comes to mind.

For those of you who've been living there since the early 2000s, I'm genuinely curious: how much has Kuwait changed since 2007?

Does it still have that same feeling? Are the old places still around? Has life changed much? And for those who remember Kuwait in the 90s and early 2000s, do you ever miss how things used to be?

I'd love to hear your memories and what Kuwait is like today.

My profile is approved and also my wife's profile is approved. I had no trouble applying for visit visa previously and my wife left the country within the specified limit. But today when i tried to apply its is showing me this error.

But usually when I try to go and take a photo, a security guard would tell me that using a camera is not allowed.

I'm just very curious. I've always preferred traffic lights instead of roundabouts tbh, and i also would go to the route where there's no roundabouts.

Don't get me wrong i also would drive around roundabouts on other places but the route where i usually go to get to my university has roundabouts and the cars around there is scaring the soul out of me. So i tend to go to another street where it has traffic lights because it feels more safe for me.

Haris is telling that Kuwaiti is unavailable and he can make the mandoop do it but it will cost 50kwd. Is this normal? Haris refusing to give any information about owner. How can I contact building office or the owner?
