Discussion/Theory The odds...

The Backrooms is huge, correct? Damn near endless? How many Still Life's are there in a 20 mile radius are we thinking?

How many woman with red hair are there in real life? I get gingers (is it okay to refer to them as gingers?) are not exactly rare out in the wild but they are certainly not very common.

So, in the vast expanse that is the Backrooms where it's mostly void of life, what would be the odds of Clark finding a random Barbara "look-a-like" inside?

Clark killed Barbara is what I'm getting at people! LOL

Kane should let me know I'm right and 99% of this community is wrong. Have a nice day!

i think there is two factors at play here ;
first is that the complex will need the odds of building a still life, and as of now it's not very clear how rare or common is that ? And while to be fair, the movie is the only instances of seeing more than 1 still life in a room, we cannot base this single event to make a statement on how common it is for the complex to generate still lives ( and also we have to factor in since the backrooms copys Standard at random intervals we can not be sure entirely how much still lives production is made in a time interval)
second is that how many gingers live in San Jose or at least near Clark or Async (since we're basing that Kelowna branch is anchored to San Jose in Standard or at least a small portion of it. So we would need to know how many reheads live in that area to start calculating.

Of course like you said the redhead still life might not be Barbara at all, it's prob unlikely and is only Barbara metaphorically to Clark in-universe.
and also Still lives seems to be far apart from each other most of the times from what we have seen at least, so i'm guessing there is 2 or 3 in a 20 mile radius (or maybe there is fewer than that in that radius !)
