THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THE GIRLS ARE IN VOGUE.

My friends and I did a speed-run build for the new firestarter music video. So excited with how these turned out ✨

(Long yap, summary = K/DA and huntrix fans beefing online now)

I’m curious to hear what other K/DA fans think about the situation, because my timeline over the past week or two has been interesting, to say the least. With K/DA returning, I’ve been seeing so much excitement from fans, with people talking about how the qirls are back and how they’re going to show everyone why K/DA is iconic. There’s been a lot of hype surrounding their comeback, and honestly, it’s been fun seeing people get excited about them again.

However, now that Netflix has released choreography for HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters a few hours ago, I’ve also been seeing jabs from some HUNTR/X fans comparing K/DA to KPop Demon Hunters, with some comments making it sound like K/DA is basically a copy of HUNTR/X???(K/DA existed years first dear lol)

Obviously, there are differences between the two groups, and I’m not saying that KPop Demon Hunters copied K/DA. Both can be appreciated for what they bring to the table. But I do think it’s unfair to act as though K/DA is simply imitating something that came afterward. At the same time, K/DA fans have started firing back with their own jabs, and it feels like what started as excitement over K/DA’s return is turning into a bit of a competition between the two fandoms lolll.

The timing of Netflix releasing the choreography has also made the debate more noticeable, especially when K/DA fans have been anticipating their comeback and celebrating the group's fame and all that.

I personally enjoy both K/DA and HUNTR/X, so I’m not interested in turning this into a competition over which group deserves to exist or which fandom is better. However, I do think K/DA deserves recognition for helping popularize the concept of virtual music groups, and its influence shouldn't be dismissed just because a newer fictional K-pop group has become incredibly successful.

I’d also like to know what you think about the comparisons between K/DA and HUNTR/X. Do you think the similarities are being exaggerated, or is there a reasonable discussion to be had about the influence of earlier virtual music projects? I’m genuinely interested in hearing other perspectives, especially from people who support both groups. I think there’s room for both groups to be successful without fans feeling the need to tear the other one down :/

no shade to sophie powers, but i feel sad riot didnt go for her again when the fans and madison herself were intrested as her coming back as evelynn. but atleast we get crumbs in evelynn's playlist

Hi,

Anyone in SoCal willing to trade Evelynn for any Kai’sa, Ahri, Akali? Honestly even NorCal. Or even traditional mail!

I am getting pretty desperate lol so please let me know!!

Thank you

I’m personally thinking about buying one for myself, but I’m not quite sure if it’s really worth it.

This is kinda a prelude to promoting "Firestarter"

We will be for sure getting mo-caps again and behind the scenes but its gonna be on IDLE's channel like before

We eating gooooood!

Thank goodness

CUBE is doing the right by them...

it took them years but hey if they are happy, we are happy.

I also have Ezreal and Kayn to trade for Sett and Aphelios if anyone has Heartsteel photocards

Hey everyone,

I found this K/DA Jacket on EMP and wondered If there is a Male-Variant Out there. I do not care If it is official merch or from unofficial Stores. I Just really like this Jacket, but Like almost everything Else from the ALL OUT - Era, the piece is croped for women...

Hello! Wondering if anyone would be open to trade the Chicha Sanchen photo cards in the Montreal area ideally, or possibly Ottawa.

I've got one Akali and two Ahri, already gave Kai'sa to a friend. Willing to trade two-for-one since Eve's the only one I really wanted. (The extra Ahri is also available if for some reason you wanted two of them)

Cheers!

I hope it was only bad for me.

The box was a small box filled with packing peanuts. The sticker sheet was sort of just slapped inside of the box and some were peeling off. For $8 of stickers, that’s unacceptable.

I also ordered 2 sheets and they only gave me one.

The Flask at first made up for it. It’s gorgeous and the design is beautiful, it also had this plastic wrapping over it.

I noticed a scuff over the E in Evelynn so I figured the scuff was on the plastic wrapping. I was peeling it off and realized that the K/DA designs aren’t on the glass, they are printed on the PLASTIC.

Like what??? How can you wash and dry this? Is it just meant to be a decoration? Luckily I noticed it early, but now the girls are missing their feet 😭😭😭. In addition, the top is just kind of ugly with the plastic wrapping not being flush.

I’d say for how much they were charging its a 1/5 star experience. If it was half the price, I’d say 3/5.

Edit: I realize the bulk of the cost of my order were the posters. I hope those arrive safely 🤞.

Hi, is there anyone in the San Francisco/Bay Area willing to trade their Ahri photocard for an Akali or Kai'sa photocard? I am willing to drive to you to make the trade!

Ordered on the 19th through my client advisor. I’m curious, does the regular edition also contain the gold inlay pages?

That is all lol
