2026 Road trip complete š
4 weeks out west in my dream jeep. Completely stock, but I got lots of upgrades planned for the near future! I also got to hit Fins and Things in Moab which was super fun!

Finally got the icon lift installed on my 22 rubicon. The truck rides really well on the road and soaks up the small stuff in the desert. Idk what my next mod will be on it, maybe a bed cap

Treated myself to some new wheels and tires just before the Moab Jamboree. Wheels are the Method 703 beadgrip. Tires are the Toyo Open Country A/T III in a 37x12.50.

Recently replaced both batteries after fighting with the dealer to get them replaced on my 24 Sport. I remember it mostly staying at 14.2 right in the middle but now it mostly sits at 13.1 unless Iām coasting when it jumps to 14.4 for a couple seconds. Idk if I should just wait for it to not start again or if Iām just being paranoid. They just replaced them about a month ago but I had to wait 6 hours after they recharged the old batteries to have them replace them after it died again.

same question, powered steps on a lifted truck, useful or still too high??
owners who have dealt with this in daily use, what mattered most after the initial install and what would you check before buying??

Significantly better visibility over the stock halogen bulbs.

I have a 2020 gladiator overland. Warranty expired and I was told there is nothing the dealership could do to help. Did alot of research and it seems like once the hinges start to go they go somewhat fast. I asked a shop to quote me for fixing and they said someone recently paid 12k for everything to be covered outside of warranty. Think I should sell it before it gets worse? I have 35k miles on it.

I've recently purchased a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. I'm wanting to add a bed rack to start adding off-road gear and what not. I'm not new to Jeeps, just this one. I used to have a '92 YJ until hurricane Helene decided to flood it out...with Tampa Bay saltwater...š¢
Could some of you please post some pics of your set ups with the different racks you have? Maybe a quick description, ease of install, and overall thoughts / satisfaction for the price....maybe what you would have done differently.
I'm looking forward to outfitting my rig for weekend adventures...
I appreciate you all...

Hi everyone,
At 94k miles I encountered my first major issue. Leaking valve cover gaskets.. I found the leak after getting p0300, p0171 and p2096. I replaced gaskets and plugs and now p0171 and p2096 only remain. There was visible oil on the wiring harness for bank 1 sensor 2 so I will try replacing the o2 sensor.
Any other possibilities??

I bought used several weeks ago. Main battery is original, not sure about the aux. The Gladiator has an existing Stop/Start eliminator (not sure when installed, but Iād bet within the first year or two by original owner). I have deleted my aux battery, it appears to be well below 12V. Main shows at 11.9V after 2-3 days of not driving. Starts ok, and I keep it on a trickle charger but its beyond time. I plan on buying myself and replacing myself, as Iāve done many times on other vehicles in the past.
Question #1 - what brand seems to be ābestā these days? Will replace with a 94R H7. So what brand would be recommended. Iāve usually liked Interstate (for the last 20 or so years), but no brand seem that great anymore. Recommendations?
Question #2 - Iāve seen a few times that the ECU needs to be āre-trainedā with the new battery, and a list of steps to attempt to get it āre-trainedā, etc. Remember, things are going to die out because Iāve done an aux delete so there wonāt be anything there to keep memory alive. And its not clear in those steps whether there was an aux or not. So - what would be the appropriate steps considering the main replacement with an aux already deleted? And I doubt a temp hookup would keep things alive - Iām betting the aux might be original too.
Thanks!

As Robert S. Miller of r/MoparInsiders previews the Jeep Gladiator 35 Inch Tire Launch Edition, you'll see there's a lot more to it than just adding the tires.

Looking at these three colors, wanting to upgrade the seats with katskinz leather saddle/brown, and armorlite tan flooring. Want to add a black bed cap, with black rubicon wheels that have machined perimeter - Iām a guy in his 30s
Which color would you say is better to go for? All have similar price ranges and trim features expect for anvil that has cab matched.

Stock 2020 Max Tow Sport on 33's. I didn't stop to take this photo because I thought it was cool. I took this photo while I waited for the upteenth time of the day to listen to the old heads (CJ, TJ & XJ all on 37's & 40's) on the trail ride I joined tell me my rig wasn't capable of what I was quite easily doing!!
This was by far the biggest wash we crossed, and by choosing lines and careful tire placement I didn't rub, scrape, or even spin a tire all day. Meanwhile the CJ was full throttle bouncing and flailing his way through wet leaves on gravel. Then couldn't do more than 45mph on the pavement sections. Let's not talk about his squealing belt or leaking radiator. I was super annoyed to be treated like I shouldn't be out there and Gladiators aren't capable. Even though I've wheeled in NY, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and California while these gatekeeping old farts have admitted to never leaving NY/PA.
They acted like they were showing me secret places that are on Google as roads and have recent trail reports on OnX. They are members of a big club and were offended I wasn't interested in joining and paying dues at the end of the day. Dues for 2 required meetings, a car show, and mud pit day that are more than my OnX subscription. I asked what they did to advocate for keeping trails and lands open and they just stared at me slack jawed. At one point I was stopped a bit back from wild man CJ to give him room to add ruts to a small stair step section and I got out and picked up a bunch of beer cans someone dumped or lost next to the trail. XJ behind me honked his horn at me!! These are not my peeps! Anyone in the FLX actually cool and chill and like exploring over mud pits and cheap beer?

Had the aux battery changed a year ago, surely it can't be that right??

I was driving a lifted ā07 Chevy Avalanche and loved it, but it was time for a changeānew 2026 Jeep Gladiator, Texas Trail edition (leather seats, mud-terrain tires, body paint fenders and hard top, bed liner). Iām an artist living in Houston, TX which is its own type of urban jungle, and I plan on using this as a daily driver. Iām an avid gardener and beekeeper so hauling light loads of dirt and gravel, moving art and supplies, camping and road trips with my hubby and dogs all in style. Iām not really a car guy but I am smitten.
I ordered the Mopar soft top with the purchase and it finally came in. This is how I wanted to see my truck, just in time for cooler weather in this hot-ass city I call home.
I hope to keep this truck for a long time, so Iām keeping an eye on maintenance, and I like the minimal look so Iām being slow and deliberate with modifications. Love the stock look but could use a real bumper for our ranch gates and crazy Houston drivers.

My wife had a YJ as her first car and was in love. Thinking about buying this to bring some YJ back to her life. Thoughts?

Iām looking for recommendations for bumpers for my wifeās 25 Mojave. I want to hear what people have been happy with, especially if you have a brand youāve gotten multiple bumpers from that youāve liked. The big thing for me is quality. I have Barricade bumpers on my TJ and the quality of the paint is awful and the durability seems questionable. Here are some considerations.
-must be full width
-small bull bar, preferably with the ability to add a couple lights
-fits a winch without sticking out too far, or at all
-prefer one that fits well with the stock highline fenders of the Mojave/Rubicon (little or no gap)
-compatibility with stock fog lights, and either doesnāt cover front trail cam or has a relocation solution
For reference: She really likes the AEV EX bumper. The price is a little higher than I expected, though I may do it if itās the best option. Price isnāt as important as quality.
