I get why O’Neil doesn't want to change a structure that's been working well, but having this much midfield quality is a good problem to have. Surely there's a way to fit more of them in without weakening the team elsewhere?

Hi all,

I just wondered who you would like to see on the LW and RW this weekend?

Also are you happy to give Emerson another start or prefer Flemming to start?

Kind regards 😁

I think we need to go into this game looking for all three points. Enciso deserves credit for getting us back into the game against Forest, and I'd like to see him keep making things happen in attack. We need to start stronger, create more chances and be more solid defensively. We can put in a good performance and get the win.

Making our own little bit of history to become Carrick's last victory?

I had a dream that we beat Leeds in the FA Cup final 2-1. Book it 😂. Okay but, actually how far do you think we can go?

Was not much of a performance, but we have a good habit of hanging in games and a better one of scoring from not much concerted pressure.

I bought both the home kit and away kit. On the home kit I have Davis, just as I do on my last shirt. Class player. On the away kit I’ve got Enciso, hope he performs well. He was great last night!

UPPA TOWEN

1' Forest kick off.

6' Gibbs-White swings a free kick towards Milenkovic out wide, who heads it back centrally to Cunha. The defender gets a shot off and Walton does well to parry it away.

8' Fatawu cuts inside onto his left foot after receiving the ball from Palacios and tries to curl a shot. Said shot flies over the bar.

13' 0-1, a ball into the box by Muñoz is volleyed in by Williams.

19' Enciso strikes a free kick high and wide.

25' MGW (cba typing the whole name now) curls a shot wide of the post.

27' SHOT! A cross towards the far post by Florentino finds the head of Fatawu. He heads it back down into the box towards Philogene, who manages to get a shot off but is denied by Sels.

31' OFF THE LINE BY DAVIS! Ndoye storms through the left and picks out MGW at the far post. He pokes a short towards goal which beats Walton, but Leif slides in brilliantly to keep it out. Diop clears it for a corner, which Ndoye heads wide.

41' ENCISOOOO!!! 1-1, TOWN LEVEL! O'Shea boots the ball up after Cunha loses the ball on the counter. The long ball is straight to Milenkovic, but he is quickly pressed by Enciso and loses it on the half way line. Enciso then slots his finish past Sels into the bottom right corner.

45' 2 minutes of added time.

45+2' HT: IPSWICH 1-1 FOREST

46' Town kick off the second half.

51' McAtee sprints past Diop and is promptly taken out by Diop. After VAR review, the chance is judged to not be a goal scoring opportunity, so only a yellow.

54' Murillo fouls Emersonn on the counter and is booked.

60' Few shots for Forest; first, Williams takes a shot which is blocked by O'Shea. Then, a volley from Murillo is punched away by Walton, and finally, Schlager rifles a shot into the side netting.

61' SUBS: Clarke on for Philogene, Flemming on for Emersonn.

64' DAVIS OFF THE LINE AGAIN! Ndoye is found completely free by Schlager out wide, and he attempts to lay a shot across goal. But once again, Leif quickly gets across to poke it off the line.

69' FOREST SUB: Hudson-Odoi off for Ndoye.

73' SUB: Fatawu off for Maeda.

74' Delap heads over from point blank range, then a second later had a shot from range which whistles just wide of the post.

83' Enciso seems to be racing through on goal after McAtee loses it, but the referee stops the game because.. why not, I guess.

84' FOREST SUB: Williams off for Netz.

85' SUBS: Enciso off for Akpom. Florentino off for Azor.

90' Big chance for Hudson-Odoi, as a deflected clearance from Diop finds him in acres of space. The winger drags his shot wide. 8 minutes of added time.

90+2' CLARKE GOES CLOSE! After snatching the ball away, Clarke races through and cuts inside, before lashing a shot wide of the post.

90+4' FOREST SUB: Delap off for Wood.

90+4' A long free kick is flicked onto O'Shea, who then hooks the ball into the box. Akpom gets onto it before firing wide, but O'Shea was a yard offside anyway.

90+9' FT: IPSWICH TOWN 1-1 NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Seeing Town tipped to stay up is encouraging. I'd be happy with 14th, but we still need to tighten things up at the back and keep picking up points.

Can you name the men who have made 300+ appearances for ITFC in the club's professional history?

I usually park down the marina but I'm coming from the A12/Copdock this time. Any parking recommendations for Friday night's game for those that come via the A12/Copdock?

Just watched the MOTD highlights. The way they edited it made it look like we had absolutely nothing other than two lucky goals. Obviously there was a difference in class in the end but I thought, especially in the second half, we really took the game too them. That was a shameful pro big six edit from the BBC there.

I know the season just started but Norwich is having a hell of a start right now
