Hi everyone! đ
I'm a self-taught investor who's always been better with numbers than with business or marketing. I have dyslexia and ADHD, and I've always found it easier to understand complicated information when it's presented visually.
I originally built Wolford Research entirely for myself because I wanted to analyze companies in a way that actually made sense to my brain. Instead of staring at endless spreadsheets and financial ratios, I wanted to SEE the financial health of a business, understand its history, and explore what different valuations might mean.
Over time, I started developing my own mathematical research methods, including things like Hidden P/E, Pressure Sensitivity, the Wolford Fundamental Factor, and other experimental financial indicators. I also built historical charts, financial-strength evaluations, valuation models, and portfolio research tools.
I genuinely believe that if you're already risking your own money investing, you shouldn't have to spend even more money just to research where you're putting it.
I'm taking more of a Wikipedia-style approach. The website is intended to remain free forever, supported entirely through optional donations from anyone who finds it useful.
I'm not much of a businessman. I just really enjoy building this stuff.
A little heads-up, though!
The website literally went live less than 24 hours ago, so it's still very much a work in progress.
I have a few hundred gigabytes of financial and market history that I'm working on organizing and importing myself. That's part of how I'm keeping costs low, but it also means some companies currently have incomplete financial histories or unavailable features.
I'm actively expanding the data coverage, improving the tools, fixing bugs, and working on new research methods. I plan to keep improving the site regularly.
I think it'll be especially useful for people who enjoy fundamental analysis, value investing, medium- to long-term investing, or beginners who want to understand what they're actually buying. It's not really designed to be a rapid-fire day-trading signal service.
What I'd really love is your feedback.
Try researching Apple or another company you're interested in. Play around with the charts, financial-strength breakdowns, and valuation tools.
If something looks wrong, a calculation seems questionable, a feature is confusing, or you have a cool idea, please tell me! I'm genuinely interested in criticism and suggestions.
I have a ton of ideas for future features and original mathematical indicators, and I'd love to hear what other investors would actually find useful.
Even if you only spend two minutes exploring it, I'd genuinely appreciate it. Knowing that someone else might find a tool I originally built for myself useful would mean a lot.

Thanks for checking it out, and feel free to ask me anything!

Do you have any of these problems?
Context:
You have some stocks. You don't want to buy and sell right away like you're day trading, but you also don't want to leave them alone for a long time like a long-term investor. You prefer a flexible approachâone that lets you stay calm while still using market volatility to your advantage.
Problems:
a) Since you aren't paying attention to the market all day and have other things to do with your life, you are afraid of missing opportunities to Buy Low and Sell High.
b) You want a system that alerts you when your investments cross a certain tolerance threshold you pre-set, but you want the system to be simple and straightforward to use. Not like other systems with too many features and insights like TradingView, which are meant for people who trade or analyze the market in depth.
c) You don't just want to know if the stock price went up or down today (% or $), you want to know if YOUR specific profits went up or downâtaking into account the number of shares you actually own and your entry price.
For example, not just getting alerts like "NVDA is up 3% today," but alerts like "Your profits on NVDA passed $50 and are now at $51.2" so you can sell and reinvest, or "Your losses on NVDA passed $70 and are now at $72.1" as a Stop Loss.
d) You want to apply compound interest to your stocks, so you want recurring alerts that let you know when to Sell with profit if you already own the stock, or buy low if you haven't bought it yet or just sold it.
I want to know if I'm the only one with this problem or if anyone else deals with these or similar issues. I think my profile is more of a Retail investor or something like that.
