The Thyrrus are truly alien Xenos, with a psychology and physiology that defies attempts to study them and understand their motives. At times, they cease their activities and engage in aesthetic displays of light, colour and inexplicable sound, even when it is detrimental to their cause or even their life.

However, their bizarre plasma technology is no less effective for it, and they pose a real and dangerous threat to the Segmentum Pacificus region in which they dwell.

“Alright, with two 6s, that’s a couple of mortal wounds on Heritor Asphodel! He’s going to deal one back to you, but I think your Blessed Rose artifact saves you from your next serious injury roll! The Woe Machines are halted, and what’s left of Vervunhive is saved!”

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only wargames.

And where there are wargames, there will always be referees. Amanato Cerdidius is one such referee, training other players in the forbidden arts of multiclassing (“you’re playing a colonel AND a commissar? sure!”), power-gaming (“your Tanith Ninja sneak-attacks the dreadnought with plants? yeah, why not!”), and of course, Grim Darkness (“oh actually, the kids were possessed by daemons all along, they just butchered… hmm… 2d12 of your soldiers and 1d3 named characters”).

For most of his life, he collected maps.
Ancient charts recovered from forgotten vessels, Navigator records copied thousands of years ago, fragments of expedition logs, even hand-drawn sketches made by explorers long since dead. He became obsessed with preserving them, convinced that every lost star was a piece of humanity's history being erased.
His knowledge eventually proved too valuable to ignore.
A Rogue Trader offered him a place aboard his vessel, granting the old man a permanent seat upon the command deck. There he compares ancient charts with the observations of his servitor, searching for routes forgotten by modern navigators.

I just received these Inquisitor bits at 54mm scale. Are there stls for missing bits or should I look for kits to bash with them? What would do with these bits?

Inqtober 2026, day 26: Stellar cartographer

Lykurgos Dervikou, stellar cartographer on the crew of the rogue trader vessel Tentrion’s Hymn, has a high-pressure task. Each time the vessel exits the Warp and transitions to real space, it must verify its location, heading, facing, and direction, to check the expected planetary movements against known charts, and to do so rapidly while readying itself to deal with any threats- asteroids, enemy craft, or stellar phenomena.

However, it does allow him to travel the expanses fantastical, to view an astounding array of planets and locales, and to live in relative luxury. Plus, it’s hard to find paying work in this field, and to pay off his astronomical (ho ho) fees for his education.

Inqtober 2026, day 25: Cyborg murderer

The enigmatic cyborg known as Synn DeTegrait is a monster- taking high-value bounties on targets even up to Astartes level and returning victorious. His armoured chassis originates from no Forge World willing to claim the work, and his array of weapons are almost Orkish in design, crude but horrifyingly effective.

The skin of his face proclaims his fading humanity, and makes him barely legal to travel throughout the Imperium. Some have claimed to vanquish him, only for him to turn up in another sector, months or years later, with even more armaments and even less regard for rules or innocents. It is rumored he may be the son of some indulgent Rogue Trader, a Sector Governor, or someone else with the authority and resources to finance his work. Whatever his story, he is brutal, efficient, and without mercy.
